Have you ever seen those blind bag type spheres in stores? A few companies do it, like Zuru, and their next blind ball set will be Transformers themed. It will be a set of 10 non transforming figures and vehicles showing the main characters in their evergreen looks. The gold Bumblebee alt mode will be the chase. These should be out in late summer, you can check out the images below.

Figures in this set include:

Optimus Prime (alt mode)
Bumblebee (alt mode)
Megatron (alt mode)
Soundwave (alt mode)
Bumblebee (alt mode)
Wheeljack (alt mode)
Golden Bumblebee (alt mode)
Optimus Prime (robot mode)
Bumblebee (robot mode)
Megatron (robot mode)

Hmmm, have Op's wipers ever been as prominent as on this bot mode figure?

They wrote "Bumble Bee" on the box, hope they fix that before release.

That Wheeljack.... ooh, that Wheel jack... somehow it will be mine.

Not interested in anything else, though that chase gold Bee, that looks suspiciously like Armada Hot Shot is kind of interesting.

So the roof-guns in the stock photos aren't hidden inside the floam sand?

I bet these things sell for around $8, and they're full of stuff you could find individually at a dollar store...

My wife is addicted to the Zuru Garden Capsule blind balls and honestly the only good thing I can say about them is that they've gotten her to lay off about MY collecting habits. :)

I actually like the stickers and cards....if anyone has a full set of only the stickers and cards to buy (but more specifically the cards), DM me.

Is there a way to know specific toy is inside without having to open? Does feeling the balls help? A gentle squeeze perhaps?

The New Transformers Themed Zuru Gumi Yum Eggs Have Some Sweet Mini Toys

Postby william-james88 » Tue Oct 07, 2025 5:42 pm

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Zuru had given us some Transformers themed blind balls this year and now they have released a cheaper and yummier product. It’s called Gumi Yum, and it’s a hollow plastic egg with gummy strands of candy wrapped around it. Inside the ball is a Transformer toy, which is a miniaturized version of the toys that came in the blind balls.

The toys are quite detailed though, amd have more paint and parts than the toys found in Kinder Eggs. Below are images of Optimus in both his robot and alt mode as well as Megatron’s tank mode. There is also an image of the entire assortment with a golden Bumblebee as the chase model. A hot wheels car is added to an image for scale. There is also a video review.

These eggs have been found in Walmarts in Canada and in Targets in the US.
