So question for all of you cartoon fans. When they come out with a new version of a cartoon, do you give it a chance or hate it right off the bat? Example The batman never started to watch because of the reviews i seen and because i loved B:TAS. Started to watch besides being toned and more for kids it was a pretty good series. Same thing with the new TMNT series (2012). You read some of the peoples reviews or post on the website imdb and they hate it. I love it, for me it's when they take away the maturity a super hero show should have or cartoons in general. What's your opinion?

Well, you can't rely on other peoples opinions so you have to find things out for yourself. I've never watched the new Ninja Turtles show but comparing the one that came out like 10 years ago (maybe) compared to the one from like the early 90's, it was good. Same thing with the recent Thundercats cartoon compares to the original. I personally like the newer one better. There's also many different Transformers cartoons. I like the original from the 80's the best because it has the best story in my opinion, but TF Prime is a really, and I mean REALLY good show. You just have to base things on your own opinion.

I like to think that I'm the most optimistic person someone can be, while still acknowledging negative qualities about something. I enjoy several cartoons that people dislike for "logical" reasons. Loonatics Unleashed, (for being a "ripoff" of power rangers and "destroying" the name of the Looney Tunes.) The Looney Tunes Show, (has more mixed reactions, but is said to be "ripping off" Seinfeld and again "destroying" the name of the Looney Tunes.")and The Batman ("destroying" the integrity of the Dark Knight, being a toy commercial etc.)are just a couple of examples. Then again, there are shows that I HATED before LOVING(THE Transformers and Transformers Animated) and shows I was very skeptical about and wound up LOVING (Avatar The Last Airbender, Gargoyles, X-Men The Animated Series, Green lantern The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Young Justice, The Legend of Korra, Nickelodeon's TMNT, GI Joe A Real American Hero, GI Joe Retaliation, Star Wars The Clone Wars, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated.) So my word of advice: Think positive, but skeptical at the same time. You won't wind up as disappointed. (Spider-Man: The New Animated Series & Ultimate Spider-Man)

I usually give new cartoons a chance but rarely like them as much as the original. I did not like the new Thundercats. Most TMNT shows are decent (I wasn't really a fan of the original). Until Prime, I haven't like new TF cartoons. Hate to hear that it's been canceled. One show that I did like more than the original was Heman and MOTU (2002).
Another would be Beast Wars even though it wasn't a remake but more of a spinoff.
