I have to say, in all honesty, at what point did you chaps actually think that you'd get, for the first time ever, a non-BBC movie release prior to the States?

Surely you knew it was too good to be true?

I didnt expect it to come out BEFORE the states, it did expect it to come out at the same time though.

And we have had non BBC movies come out over here before you guys. Its rare but it has happened.

They count as a blessing, though. Period dramas are about the only thing the BBC can do right, and even then they mess up sometimes.

It's only just that we get this on July 4th, I say.

Anyway on to topic...i dont think releasing it the same day as simpsons will matter, just means i have to pay over £40 on the same day justto see two films.

why are all the trailers saying July 4th everywhere now? Could it be we will get it on that date? It would be so dumb of them to leave it later here.

Funny, my wife, who is american, feels the same way. At this point she actually hates being associated with america, and pretends she is canadien when asked where shes from.

We still get the movie first. On a side note about it coming out the same day as the simpsons, I don't really think it will be a big deal. Simpsons is probably 5 years too late when it comes to having a movie. I think they missed the boat.
