the problem with humans is that they often the movie focuses on their lives and problems when Id rather learn watch and hear about Transformers. The people are there to move the Transformers story and help explain, megatrons pawns, Autobot friends...not have love stories etc that I dont really care about.

and people like devastator because he is made out of construction vehicles. And lets be honest, people who like big robots usually like big construction vehicles too, I would think.

I blame the US military for that scene. The military probabely demanded that Prime need military help to battle Megs in order to advertise to all the 13-18 boys how "bad ass" military service is. I really believe they were behind the weakening of Prime as well as making Sam the hero of the movie. After all, you have to have one boy close to recruiting age to convince all the boys watching the flick to join the military. Just really disgusting.

Well quite a number of people (myself one of them) have complained about the military propaganda in this film. Maybe Hasbro and Dreamworks wised up and realized that the military propaganda is giving their franchise bad publicity. So maybe they ordered Bay to either go light on the military propaganda in the second film, or to get rid of it altogether. I don't think they will completely get rid of it though since Bay wants the cooperation of the military.

There are two things that are making me suspicious about all this casting. 1) Sam going to Princeton (don't think he's smart enough or earned high enough grades to do so). 2) The name, "Massive Dynamics". "Massive"? Doesn't sound like a very good name for a high tech defense weapons company to give itself. Also, Bay and Shia having been using this word to describe TF2 for some time.
