Anyone know where the models come from? They look like they come from a game...
Anyways, here it is.

SmokescreenGT wrote:Just a heads up to everyone, the next several days are going to be a bit uncertain for me as I'm currently in the direct path of Hurricane Sandy (I live in South Jersey). Therefore, I'm going to try and get at least one more post done by tomorrow night. After that, depending on the damage and if I still have power, I may not be around for several days, maybe more. Hopefully, everything will turn out fine, and I'll be back sooner rather than later.

Ember wrote:Sandy has been working up a frenzy down here. So far I haven't lost power...still have my DireacTV...which means I still have interenet service. For how long I'm still not sure.
I will try to get up a couple more posts this evening, but I'm not promising anything.
Now, if only I'll survive having my daughter home for one more day. *face palm*

Yikes. Please stay safe.
You, too, Smokescreen--and anyone else caught in Sandy's way.
GlaD to hear you made it out alright! I'm GlaD to hear that the family is safe, too. I guess after Sandy you won't have to worry about those Cicada-Killers, right?Ember wrote:We weathered the storm fairly well. Had a leak in the roof but I was able to get up in the attic and determine it was due to just a lifted shingle so no problem there. Other than that we never lost power.
Although I still haven't been able to get in touch with my parents...I did get in contact with my aunt who lives about two minutes from them...and she says they're doing good.
Can't say the same for most of New Jersey. http://a.abcnews.com/images/US/abc_seas ... 30_ssh.jpg My daughter had her 5th birthday on this pier in Seaside Heights.

Really sorry guys. I am not worthy!

You and me both. I think I am, after this posting fit, going to well and truly die screaming. The amount of posts hang above my head like a vast predatory bird. Well, it is better to post and die than live with the knowledge that I ran!

Remember to focus on the fun aspect. Don't let your mind make posting in to a chore. Find the balance of characters to where your brain enjoys keeping up with that amount and isn't excessively pressured to do it. Everybody's comfort level/character amount is different.
If, "if" being the key word, you feel like you have too much pressure to post, shave off a character or so until it gets back to what it felt like when you were having the most fun in the game. In a perfect world, we'd all have a chunk of various characters and have no problems keeping up with them. Barring that, I'd rather see people snag one or two and keep up with them regularly rather than progressively snagging more and more in a fairly short span of time and then just drop off the face of the Earth when they realize they can't keep up.
I'm not saying that anyone in this chatterbox is thinking of quitting, I'm just speaking from having seen it happen plenty of times before when pressure to write begins to creep in and outweigh the fun factor--and trying to help before it happens again as opposed to trying to fill roles again later.

Don't worry; I haven't forgotten the fun, and I plan on bugging you guys sticking around for a long time.![]()
I've just felt guilty because of my sickness holding back game progress, recently. It also is no help that I will be gone for the next few days with no computer to at least do some offline writing. It bites.

Oh, I haven't forgotten the fun aspect either. You're not getting rid of me that easily! I happened to look away and then look back and lo and behold, it had been a long time since my last post. I felt really bad about it is all.
Oh on a totally different note, I am celebrating my birthday!Which is, you know, both good and bad. Sometimes birthdays only purpose in life seem to be reminding us of just how old we are getting.

I am pretty convinced that's the sole purpose of birthdays.Happy birthday nevertheless.

On a slightly darker note, someone can just shoot me. This week will murder me one way or another anyhow. I'll try to get some posts out, but I hope you can all understand when real life takes precedence.
