I'd like to apologize for my recent lack in posting. It would seem that health issues don't just plague me in my household.

In truth, the common cold would be a godsend.

So, I was sitting down today and I was about to write up a post for Jazz, but then it hit me. Several pages have transpired since my last post with him. Now, I am in the position to post, however... Well. I don't know where to begin with him. Should I just continue from his conversation with the big U.M., or is everything so FUBAR (fragged up beyond all repair) that I need to just... Teleport him somewhere and pick things up from there?

Also, Ember, stahp gettin sick all teh teim. Srsly.

Whatever makes more sense. Sometimes use of good ol' past perfect tense can cover some ground when there's been a gap in posting and get a character back up to speed with what's going on. Sometimes, everybody else has just moved on and you have to play catch up. Either way, playing with tense in a post is my usual fix.

I like the look of this game you guys have going on here and would even more so like to join in and play, but I've run into a little trouble. Flywheels is the character I'm hoping to get an application up for soon; however, I'm unsure of the alts I should give him for Earth.

I know it's a silly question to ask, but are there any particular Earth-y designs he should have, or will most things be okay for a fellow who boasts a jet and a tank?

Most low-tech forms of said vehicle types should do fine. Not the top-line jets or tanks out in the field today, but pretty much anything else. If we have to refine it a little bit, we can always do it in the app process. Flywheels won't exactly have exceedingly rigorous sets of standards to overcome in order to get him approved. He's a good starter character.

Howdy, I have Battletrap, the other Duocon. It took me a bit to figure out his two forms myself. The staff here are very workable when it comes to applications. If\when Flywheels is approved, you can place him with Battletrap on the Con ship above Earth. I'm currently spacing the name but Battletrap is aligned with Shockwave. If you have any questions, we will be very happy to answer any you have.

Okay, people, more shit-ass bad news on my end. This past Friday we had a ginormous scare. We were having a busted underground water pipe replaced when the plumber hit the phone line. Then the electric line was hit. And when I came home I was flagged down and told that everyone was evacuated from their homes because the gas line was hit.

The gas did ignite prompting several fire companies and police departments to arrive. The line was finally shut off late in the evening and the electricity was restored. Unfortunately my internet went out due to all of the water the fire department had been spraying onto the front of the house. Sooooo, I'm piggybacking off a neighbor but I'm not sure how long it'll last. The connection is kind of sporadic and the cable company won't be here until Wednesday.

So, please bear with me.

And sadly we made the front page of our local news paper....so embarrassing.

Bummer but hopefully whoever was trying to replace the water line will end up paying for all the damages. The actual person who done it probably going to lose a job and the company will most likely need to find another insurance company after the insurance company pays for all the damages.

Damn Ember...Makes my technical difficulties look like nothing...

Anyways, my laptop is still out at the shop. Every time I go to pick it up, they seem to find another problem with it. And Friday night my phone began to act up and I lost connection to my Phone Company, so I'm also out of my phone for awhile while it is ALSO getting fixed.

Managing to borrow my family's laptops and desktop to stay connected though!

Plumber came today and finished his work. Unfortunately while he was working he kept getting shocked every time he tried touching the busted pipe. He called the electric/gas company, they came out and said there's a secondary electric line that's faulty.

Plumber left after finishing his job but he couldn't fill in the hole where the faulty electric line is. Staked and roped off the area. Guys were here from 10:05am until 5:00pm.

Later on this evening the company that marks for utility lines shows up and my husband goes out to ask what they're lining for. They were marking for Verizon who should be coming tomorrow to lay a new phone line. Then another marking crew shows up...they have no idea why they're there! Fun!

It's now 9 pm and the electric/gas has just shown up to repair the secondary electric line. My neighbors are so gonna love me. As it is I can't leave my house without people staring in its direction...what with its roped off front steps and dirt covered front lawn how could you not stare?!

Oh, and we're still waiting on Comcast, for my internet, and the town inspector has to come by to make sure all the plumbing work is kosher in the house.

I need a damn vacation.

Update...

I know you guys must love hearing about this. So here goes...

The secondary electrical line was repaired, not without utilizing a jackhammer at 10:00pm. (my neighbor voiced her opinion about that one) The guys were out of here by around 1:00am. I was up until 2:00am and got about 3 hours of sleep. Fun fun.

Now for some good news. Comcast came by this morning and I'm back on the internet through my own network. Yay! But I'm still waiting on Verizon. Boo!

Now...pouty faces...the numbness in the top of my hand...saw the doc yesterday and he's decided to skip the steroids and go straight for another EMG. So if he finds something amiss concerning my radial nerve it's more surgery for me.

Anyway that's where life stands.
