RPG-related art and stop-motion stuff would be some sweetness.

Another question- Would grappling hooks on a fan made character be considered something that would need a penalty? And if so how much?

Hey, y'all. I was released from the hospital last night. I've tried to read through all of your posts, but the pain killers are making me really tired and it's been hard to concentrate. I hope I'll be able to start posting again some time next week.

I keep feeling this urge to apply for more characters and I've already got five. But there are just so many leftover canon characters as well as at least a dozen ideas in my head for fanmades. Am I an addict? Do I need help?

Right now, I'm working on an application for a fan made character, but I'm having trouble on some things. I already know the personality and the tragic backstory, but I'm having some trouble on certain things.

Weaponry- I'm pretty sure I want to have her use a discus as a weapon, because it has the same sort of action as a fan would, but since this is G1 and not Transformers:Animated, I was wondering if I should have a type of gun instead. (if so, I'd like one that had a name like "Colider Blaster" or "Hadron Colider Beam" or something in reference to the Hadron Super Collider, which some people thought would open up a black hole and destroy the Earth if turned on. I thought that type of thing would be a really cool weapon.)

Alt-Mode- I think it would be really funny to be a mini-van, but I'm not so sure it fits the character, who has quick reflexes and is light on her feet.

Function- I have no idea what functions there are, so I don't know what type my character would be suited for.

Is it ok if I mention a character in my character's back story called Joyride, who is completely made up, but who dies in the backstory? And if so, in a later on RPG, could I make a app for him and send it in, or would he have to stay dead?

I know that was a mouthful, and I'm sorry.

One last thing. I think it would be so awesome to have a drawing of Motormaster holding Axle up by his spark/spine and Hex in the background with an expression that said "No! AXLE!" I'm going to try to start working on that, and I'd like some input/help.

I have a drawing of Scrapper shoving his finger in Baneblade's (No, not the person, but the character) faceplate, but I have yet to post it. It was a scene that was before the Iranian Desert Battle.

I was also thinking of making a Half-Life 2/Portal crossover comic, kind of like the Mosaics, but without Transformers.

How'd you do on your test?

I think I did well, but I'm not sure. We haven't gotten the results yet. As for the picture, you should defininetly post it. It sounds awesome.

(I honestly don't know what Half-life 2, or Mosaic is, and the only Portal I know is the video game. Is that the Portal you were talking about?)

Gotta second Ember there, definitely an addict. That said, if the itch is there, I always say scratch it. If you have a bunch of ideas, you don't have to feel pressured to snag a bunch of characters and explore them all. You've been around this block long enough Weave another one in, see what it does for your muse.

You can always experiment with an NPC to see if they click, which takes some of the pressure off any canon since someone else can always come along and app for 'em, and the character wouldn't be getting any love at all if you weren't dabbling around with them. Win-win.

I'm spinning my hand at it - but i only think i would be able to bring some life to maybe FanMade characters - we all know what the canon's look like - but I MIGHT be able to maybe put together one or two fight scenes from the RP i.e Contemptor Vs. Ironhide


if I am going to attempt some of the fanmades i will also need a description of physical colour and appearance, and by that i don't mean "looks like" which is a bit of a cop-out really, so a description of the alt-mode and colours et al

Well, I suck at hands too, but I'm decent at heads. I REALLY am bad at bodies though. By the way, how the heck did you get such a good quality picture at 100x100 without exceding 9.77?! I spent about an hour on mine, but by the time I was through it was 40x40 and very poor quality. I did upload it from a picture I took of a drawing I drew and colored, but still! How did you get such good quality and size?

Okay, my brain is starting to clear thanks to only taking my Oxycodone in the evening before bed time. The pain is finally getting much more tolerable. Things seem to be right on track then.

Yes, Portal the video game, Half-Life 2 is a sequel to Half-Life; Valve, The people who designed and published Portal, did Half-Life as their first game. Portal is actually happening in the timeline of Half-Life 2.

It looks like a political thing, like that day when everybody's supposed to turn out their lights. Just for the 18th.

Reading the news story, I'm not seeing anything that makes me concerned about our material being wiped. Now, if that stupid bill somehow passes, the internet will certainly change for the worse.

Yeah I read it 'Sid...its just another methodto allow greed and mass profiteering at the expense of everyone else. I'm calling a spade a spade, so if they want to screw everyone out of every penny then they need removed and replaced....violently if need be
