I have to post a comment, just to try and get to page 20 of the comments.

It looks awesome, looks like there were more transformers in it then the whole first movie. Cool action, I'm really excited about TF3.
Sucks I, and you, still have to wait months. There were like spoilers over half a year before the movie comes out, I'm getting mental instability.

Here is an observation, I knew I recognized part of this.

The part around 27 seconds in the trailer is this scene below, note the flipping red car. You can actually see the truck with the camera rig on it that filmed this scene (assuming they didn't re-shoot). Looking at it closer it looks like there are two camera rigs in the video, one on the truck and one on a dolly of some sorts. If you watch the trailer closely, pay attention to the red car, the trailer shifts back in time slightly at the 31 second mark with the rolling red car spinning again and a slightly wider angle on the shot. It probably the two cameras.

One thing that no one has mentioned: the characters may infact be dead, but to be fair the alt modes that they scanned are plentiful around the city and the world. There's no reason why one 'Con or 'Bot can't scan the same alt mode another one has. My guess is it's a different character that scanned the Audi for its alt mode...same for Long Haul and Brawl in this trailer- they scanned similar vehicles and just use an existing template for succesful transformation.

They also get to re-use the same CGI models to save a bit of time I guess hehe

The con being ripped to slag by Prime looks more like Sideways. Also that dragon/bird is more than likely Lazerbeak, I mean why would there be a dragon bot/con all of a sudden? Lazerbeak in G1 had a bit of a neck albeit not a very long one but it did kinda stick out there.
More importantly it was a kool trailer that has me excited to see it as well as the wife and kids and in the end that's all that matters to me. Face it the bots/cons in the live action movie's don't look nothing like their G1 counterparts. Hell, sometimes the figures look nothing like their movie counterparts.....anybody remember '07 Voyager Class Starscream????

Ok yeah, Sideways was 1/2'd by Sideswipe but Bonecrusher was beheaded by Prime in the first flick but in RotF when the Decep's landed int the desert you see a Bonecrusher type vehicle rolling with the cons. So yeah it could be a different robot but with the same alt. mode. I mean why not? The Grindor/Blackout always made me lol.

But who are the two automobiles that transform and attack each other? They both look like Ironhide to me.
It's also nice to see Optimus has a jetpack again.

One was Ironhide, the other 2 are those dreadlock having SUV's who's names are constantly changing and I can't keep up.

Ditto on the Midnight Premiere. My birthday is July 1st, so what better way to celebrate than with TF: DOTM? (And the bar afterwards, lol)

As for the crash scene, in the screen caps you can see he (Ironhide) crashes into two of the Dreads,

Oh well. Way to go Michael bay,way to goo... I bet the new optimus to is a freaking voyager class with that combo trailer, you see over time hasbro has shrunken our heroes every year, I mean look at reveal the shield optimus, he's like the Tom cruise of all primes,4th nothing, you guys seen the new dtom toy of optimus.? Freakin voyager, just to add in the trailer....I bet the damn tentacle thing is shockwave. Oh hell.

Also, for your personal enrichment, if you do a quick google search you will see that there are feathered dragons as well as the traditional style of dragon wings.

Ha ha, of all the things I thought people would nick pick about, I never thought it would be if Laserbeak was eithr a Dragon or a Bird. Laserbeak is getting more attention then Ravage did when he became a cyclops....go fig.

However someone also threw in the possibility of a Predacon....which begs if maybe more animal based bots will make an appearence in "Moon".

Oh yeah, I think the tenticle thing might be Shockwave now that it's been mentioned, being he showcased a simular feature when he was getting close and personal with that satellite in "Fallen". That could be...........interesting.

First of all I had a stroke/heart attack/nut myself when this commercial came on during the super bowl. Congratz to the packers! Anyways this 30 sec teaser left a ton of open questions and I would like to address them as best I can. (I grew up watching Beast Wars and Armada so I have limited knowledge of G1 only what I have read on the internet)

All the ships:
Of course they are decepticon ships as an autobot ship would never fire on the buildings of earth. And there were a **** load of them presumably brought by shockwave as instructed by Megatron.

Dreads:
Yes Ironhide is playing demolition derby with the SUV looking dreads. Epic.

Dragon/Bird thing:
I do firmly believe this is laserbeak. Yes it has feathers. Yes it has the tail and neck of a dragon. It also has the two round spots on his wings resembling his cassette form from G1. Also I believe that you are looking at a closeup of him while he is flying in the air which makes him look really big. I catch myself wondering if Bay has pullen the fuzor thing from Beast Wars and made laserbeak a dragon-bird fuzor. That would be kinda cool but weird at the same time. But whatever.

Shockwave:
Yes the bad ass was in the 30 seconds of mass destruction as you can notice him in the still shots on this website. You notice him on the left side when optimus is flying into the scene. Kinda hard to miss the glowing red eye looking at you. You also see ratchet and bumblee as well and some other decepticons.

Sentinel Prime:
Yep he is here to play too.

Flying Optimus:
The first time I saw the trailer I immediately though that optimus had combined with Jetfire as he did in Armada. But watching the trailer so many more times I no longer believe that. I think the jet pack is just a toy from his trailer of goodies he totes around in the movie (also he has the ability to combine with his trailer because the optimus toy for the new movie can do so. but not in the same style as Armada. hope he does that in the movie!)

Dudes Optimus gets buck wild on with his swords in the streets:
Yes you see robots that look like brawl and sideways. I have to wonder though that he is slashing through drones that came with the invasion as they were so easily killed. (similar to the drones in War for cybertron)

The first trailer released about the moon:
I am still deciding how to interpret the ship that sits on the dark side of the moon. Having recently watched it again very closely I noticed the last transformer they showed that wakes up might be an ariel bot because you can notice wing shaped points sticking off his sides similar to the ways starsceams wings are. Gotta leave me to believe it is silverbolt/jetfire. Maybe jetfire/silverbolt was sent out on a mission to follow the cube after it was sent out into space and they crashed on the moon? Maybe they are really old transformers who know secrets? Idk. There is no telling till the move comes out.

Another part of me wonders if this is where sentinel prime comes from in the movie as we can see hime in the still shots....it is yellow like he was in G1. Maybe he got an upgrade when goes to earth. And the wing-like things may just be odd body design...

I vote its an autobot ship with Sentinel Prime on it.
