I'm actually not shitting you guys, it's common knowledge, really.
It is? How come those are the only pictures available of it? I would think that tfclub or the chinese ebay dealers would be selling these supposed "yellow" versions.

The arrow points to a nick in the paint where it's easy to see.
Look, if they made a yellow version, it would be cast in yellow plastic. I don't know, but it seems crazy to me to think this is legit.

Regardless, the original Aveo Swerve was yellow, as seen here;

And I dunno, like it's possible for figures to be exclusive in China and not be stolen by TFClub or whoever's working the factories there.

Why is he asking for it? (Mar 2008)

I know there's bits of red on him, but trust me when I say its NOT paint. I scraped the surface in a corner, and tried Isoprene on it, and it would't come off. Its like the molds were half-filled with yellow plastic then topped up with some red.

If yours is injected yellow plastic thats pretty good because mine definitely looks to be painted. I'd say it was painted with enamel paint and though it was painted very neatly (other than them painting over the back of the light tube for the eyes so now no light go through) the yellow doesn't evenly match over the whole figure. There are parts where you can see a red
tint (looks sorta red orange) on the outside.

Yes, when Ryan gets his hands on one and makes a gallery of it.
Ithink it was made yellow but that it may be the only one. There are a thousand possible ways that it's "real" but was not intended for mass production. I'm not saying that it is real, just that it appears legit enough to have reasonable doubt. Like a blurry picture of Sasquatch. Not solid proof but good evidence.

I don't mean to be a jerk arguing with you here...
That picture shows the same underlying red I was talking about on the door. The door is cast in clear plastic, then painted. Every yellow one I see appears to have had the yellow paint applied over the red.
Regarding the injection molds...they simply do not and can not work the way you described. Basically, the plastic is made in tiny little balls and the mold is filled with them and heated up. they can't go half and half without the plastics combining. It just doesn't work due to the heat requirements.
Now, obviously these things exist. We have pictures. The question is, are they ALL custom figures? (probably) Or is at least one of them a mold test run or a lunchtime production piece. Either of those options equals out to be a non-offical figure. So, in that sense, they do not exist as 'product'. It would be like saying the red prototype Bulkhead that Seibertron got picture of is a special version of Bulkhead. It is a tool of production and an interesting one at that, but not a different version of Bulkhead.

I'm certain we'll eventually find out if it's a lunchtime or a real product along the way, everyone. But even if it isn't a true product it's fairly obvious there is at least one yellow one out there, however it came to be.
How many yellows are out there and are they real? *mimics voice from tootsie roll pop* The world may never know
