Online or in-store? If it's the latter, you my friend, are a brave man!
In store, early, missed the chaos
Got Vortex and Blast Off at Target for $19.60 each thanks to the sale. They only had one of each and no other Combaticons.
Found Brawl at Kmart, but they weren't on sale unfortunately, so had to pay the full $25. That is still cheaper than importing from the U.S. by about 50c though
Worth noting that Kmart had the best selection of all the shops I visited.

Just completed the retail set and have the G2 set in my PoL, can't wait to have them standing side by side! That's coming from someone who hated the gestalt when fist seen.

Kmart has been getting a lot of TF's lately, they're probably the best place to shop, the ones that i visit anyway. Funny thing is, the stores don't all seem to carry the same ranges. IE Target will have FoC Soundwave and Soundblaster, but the other retailers won't. I've got a hunch Kmart'll import the wave that contains Blaster and Grimlock, so I'm holding out on buying those two as the PoL is pretty much the same $$$.

Yep, Kmart has been great recently (ignoring the lack of BD sale
Both Kmart's had some of the discs for SW/SB and the second one I visited had SW & SB as well as the Combaticons. The first had a few botshots and legion or legends or whatever they are and a bunch of non-transformer toys on the tf shelves so they didn't look empty...
Target was almost out of tf stock as well, just the two combaticons and PRiD/FoC deluxes.
TRU was just as bad as the first Kmart and Target.
Kmart is the best place to find tf toys, but they are still a little hit and miss. If they hadn't stocked these at prices that were just below the cost of importing I wouldn't have even bothered to go looking. The time and fuel would've turned me off.

Today though with vouchers and chrimbo cash I picked up the FOC Combaticons and I love them! Five good deluxes and a stable and posable combined mode. The colours are burning my retinas a little but I'm sure I'll get used to that, or go partially blind and he'll be the only bot I'll be able to make out. Got them for a bargain price too, I've seen them in three stores, a new toy shop in a mall near us, an out of town TRU and my local TRU. The new shop and the out of towN TRU wanted £12.99 each, the local TRU had them out for £9.49 each, £47.45 total compared to £64.95 in the other shops. Result!

Toys'R'Us FE Optimus and Zombie Cliffjumper.
QC issues aside, Optimus is a bloody awesome figure.

What recent decision of Hasbro can't the above picture apply to?

I'd get Optimus, but I'm too busy trying to hunt down Swindle to get him. But, as a counterargument, I am in dire need of a better (and more accurate) Prime Optimus...

Seriously? They can't all be gifts from others, tell me that's a BBTS POL shipment. There isn't enough time in one day to open all that!

I really dig my G2 FOC Bruticus, simply for the packaging and the colors. For the most part, the single figures aren't as bad as I once thought. Brawl is my fav. While in combined mode, Bruticus isn't too bad, but I don't really dig the look of the arms. I know that they trying to go with the scramble city thing or whatever, but honestly, I think they should have left it alone. Then again, that will come in handy with the Wreckers repaint coming out. But, as said, I do enjoy the set. Now bring on an add on kit FP.....please, of course.

Some paint apps are missing, there's a thread for it, but I can't be bothered to find it.

It's that simple."
Anyway, he gave me something totally unexpected: That OP VS Megs Kreo set. My very first Kreo set. Well, I'm pretty pleased and when I'll have a few moments, we'll build it together while my sis will do her girly things!
...
Holy **** that Kreo set is expensive! O_o
On a side note, I received some vidia from my sis (P4 Golden for Vita) and mom (the 32GB card for Vita), and 100$ cash from my dad (used for PSN and XBLA points, plus brand new XBox 360 Skyrim that was 30$ for a limited time. I hope this Syrim version will not choke my 360 to death like it did for my PS3.)
My family is awesome.

Has nobody mentioned the extra hands yet? Brawl and Swindle have hands. I figured out arm modes for them and leg modes for Vortex and Blast Off. Bruticus ends up a wee bit less stable and a bit taller but IMO the proportions look better.
The way the alternate hands and arms are formed means you can make him do a Airachnid/General Grievous style four handed technique!
I'd taken these yesterday and later figured a better foot arrangement for Blast Off, basically do the same transform as in arm mode but leave the hands and thumbs tucked away.
