That'd be cool to see the Doc as Wheeljack. And the light up mouthplate to really distinguish him.
What about Christopher Walken as Kup? Haha.

Christpoher Lloyd would be a great Wheeljack. Make the character a little older than he was in G1, and it's sorted.
I originally said Hugo Weaving should be cast as this character, but as he is Megatron, why not have Kelsey Grammer as SHOCKWAVE. Calm, collect, much better fit for him than any Autobot.

Yes thats a good choice, but i doubt we will see old one-eye-no face in the movies.
Plus he's too busy what with guarding cybertron and being significantly understaffed for the job.

I can totally see Christpoher Lloyd as wheeljack, in his normal voice, but i'd allow one scene with him going on about a crazy idea and play into the whole mad scientist role. also i can see Kelsey Grammar as preceptor or jetfire since he's a scientist and who doesn't love jetfire?
i'd love to see kurtwood smith as ultra magnus or as a pissed off bot, like gears or brawn. not huffer because i hate him haha. i'd love to see Christopher Walken in a future movie. Whatever he is in, its gold!

I like jetfire, even though i have technically only seen two episodes with him in it. Classics jetfire made me fall in love with him though.

I can't be sure how many times I've said this. David Hyde Pierce as Perceptor. It'd be awesome if Lloyd, Grammar and Pierce were all in it.
3 guys from Frasier (Lloyd was the Ex. Producer).
Or better yet 4, Peri Gilpin as Arcee.
Paramount could easily get those actors since they're kinda bound to Paramount by Frasier
Lets face it, they're brillaint. Hell, John Mahoney would make a fantastic Ultra Magnus.
Then again, have we exactly heard of the people playing the other Transformers other than Peter Cullen and Hugo Weaving.

Not as a TransFormer voice, but Lloyd would be a perfect Doctor Arkeville working for Starscream as a pet in the sequel.

That's perfect! He already looks like him.

Thank you, thank you. I've been thinking long and hard on the Lloyd issue.
John Mahoney played Niles and Frasier's father, Martin, on the show. He doesn't have the right voice for Ultra Magnus, though.

He has a closer accent and is still prone to going off on random rants.

If I was going to cast Kelsey Grammer as a Transformer, I think he'd be best suited as either Perceptor, Hoist, or Grapple. He has that suave, intelligent sound in his voice. It really shows when he does Sideshow Bob on the Simpsons.
And Christopher Lloyd as 'Jack would be pretty good. Just so long as he doesn't start spazzing out

Um...you realise the spazzing out is the reason half of the people here want him as Wheeljack?
