So the frst movie had alot of ad, & product placement.

what companies or websites or whatever should be mentioned in Transformers 2?

I think this website should most definatly be mentioned in the movie.

Hasbro and their Transformers toys. They are all that should be advertised. What will be advertised is a different matter.

But if they mention this site... This site is about Transformers and in the movie they can't say the official movie site or any other site about TF... It doesn't make sense!

I'm sure Hasbro will put a reference to another one of their toy lines, like the MLP in the first one.

I guarantee you VW will be begging Bay to have the bug be the new Bumblebee and Bay will tell them, "No. We decided to go with a yellow submarine this time."

yup my little pony is a Hasbro. So was the big Furby truck that Starscream destroyed along with Bumblebee's legs.

i think the whole "elite soldier team" was a big nod to G.I. Joe

Especiaslly since Capt. Lennox was in "G.I. Joe vs. The Transformers".

Personally, I really can't say I care about product placement in films as long as it doesn't detract from the movie itself. I definitely did not find myself thinking throughout the movie, "Damn, why do I suddenly want to own a GMC car?".

That being said, I do hope they 'cut a deal' with VW and get BB back to 'bug' mode. That would certainly tickle my fancy.

Acutally while I was watching the movie I was thinking of how sweet it would be to drive that Mustang Saleen. I usually hate the Ford products but damned if that isn't a sweet looking ride.

Lockheed, Boeing, and other big shots should be cashing in.
