Now that the movie is nearly upon us, I'm wondering if we're going to see another scenario where a popular character is shorted in shipment, then we have a few people selling loads of that particular character (Bumblebee) at ridiculous prices. I think that character is going to be Ravage or Soundwave this time around. Anyway, here's Leader Optimus Prime being sold for DOUBLE the list price... insanity... and I might add any buyer that must have him now is insane, too (at that price). More power to you, but you're crazy (and shame on you for supporting the scalpers) if you can't wait just a little longer for him...

It's bound to happen scalpers will always pounce on a movie toyline. The truth is we really don't know what will be a the next 09 Camaro Bumblebee until the line hits store shelves in mass. Also this should prolly be in the toy forum.

That's what I'm expecting, plus waiting on the "premium line." Even now, you can still pay just about retail (and often less) for the original line of movie figures.

Looks like 2 people went for it, though. $110 bucks + shipping... boggles the mind...

..You can pre-order it just about everywhere for 44.99.. Those people are insane..I want the new line bad but my common sense takes over.. I'm only going to get the new bots this time around..Soundwave, jetfire, fallen etc etc..

Yeah but then more scalpers see what they paid and corner the market (aka get all the figures from their buddy from the back store) and charge out the energon vapor discharge fan for that figure. If people could hold off till the street date then the figure would lose scalper value. and in turn be available on the shelf.

This fleabayer put more ROTF leader primes up so i sent a question of how is 2 weeks later this summer? on 5-30-09 this will be released to the public in mass quantities at half your price. I'm waiting on a comment from the seller.
