Dreamworks Transformers was magnificent! The movie is what I've waited for all these years.

Anyway, Brawl was supposed to be the Decepticon tank in the movie. But when Starscream called on the 'Cons, the subtitle of the tank's answer wrote "Devastator".

The best movie so far! Kudos to Dreamworks!

it's either one of these

the tank is originally named devastator but was erroneously named brawl in the toy

the tank is originally named brawl but was erroneously named devastator in the movie

and hence a new 'rumble is blue, frenzy is black' is born for a new generation

Most of the Decepticons had codenames in the script. Brawl's was Devastator. Obviously when they did the subtitles for the movie, they were using the shooting script, and not a updated one.
