When are they coming out with the Dead Metal's face add-on kit?
I'd pre-order that without a second thought!

Wow, they just keep reusing that mold, not that I'm complaining. As someone who already has the original CC I really appreciate the fact that I can buy the add on separately.

That's going to be the next iGear kit obviously.

I've never pre-ordered anything before from BBTS, but I couldn't take the chance of NOT getting this. Might even drive up there and pick it up instead of waiting for it to ship.

Thanks to whomever found the link for the Add-On kit. I was just in the middle of thinking "Man, I wish they'd release the weapons for those who purchased City Commander during the first run..." and lo and behold, there it is. And at that price, I couldn't NOT get it. Awesome news!

I have a spare G1 (well re-release) Magnus gun & launchers for CC, but for only $12, I had to get this.

Hm, the ads claimed the missile launchers will work for both robot and vehicle mode just like the G1. I don't know if this true for the original City Commander since only one side of the trailer has hole.

Not a big lost since I'm displaying in robot mode anyway. I'm just glad the launchers and the dual gun are released as a separate set. They should've done this in the beginning, ehehee.

if someone trust worthy gave me their email, I can paypal the money to them, and give you the address to ship to me?

God must have wnated me to have a perfect Ultra Magnus because my Classics UM was missing the white gun, and the black panel on the left leg was missing too.

Then just this Saturday at the flea market, I got a perfect condition Classics UM complete for $10.

So how exactly can we put the missile launchers for vehicle mode? The original City Commander trailer didn't have the holes that Powered Commander has to allow the missile launchers to be attached in trailer mode. Will the re-release have the holes that Powered Commander has?

Yeah... not much we can do, and It's not like its a bad thing they improve their products.
We just have to learn that nothing FansProject makes is really "limited" and usually a better version might show up in the future. (Though I think they might have rereleased this to shut down the bootleggers.)

I just wish they would stop releasing and rereleasing the commanders for a while and finish Protector, I really cant wait for that.

If they are kind and/or smart they would include the new shoulder bits with the add-on kit. but I doubt it.

Would it be crazy to buy this and then re-paint it? The more I look at it the more i want to add my own custom touch to it....

Hey once it's yours you can make it anything you want to! But be warned we can fully expect to get versions for Shadow and Diaclone upgrades. What repainting were you planning?

Dude! that is so awesome!! OMG!! Zod you da Man! just shoot me your email once you are ready for me to paypal you... man, echecks are a pain in the arse to purchase things online.. because I normally have to wait about 3 days for it to clear, and what is funny is that once I purchase a product, the money comes right out of my bank.. it is in the transition between the time I purchase it, to the time it reaches the seller, that it is taking alot of time.. you'd think with it coming out of my account the second I push the buy and confirm button, it'd be all over..

Anyways... I appreciate that you and others like you exist here on seibertron.com, and even if you think it is just a small gesture, it is really a huge deal for me, thank you very much my friend.

TFsource.com is now listing the City Commander re-issue as well as the TFX-03 add-on set.

Very cool, but I need to cut back on my spending, and it isn't official product so that is one way to draw the line.

lol! I was about to shoot you a PM as well, but I see it's already been taken care of.

Is there any way to be certain that the add-on set will be re-painted for the other commanders? If so I'll wait and buy the shadow commander add-on set as well. If not then I might have to try my hand at customizing for the first time and repaint the launchers for shadow commander.

I've very little experience with any sort of customizing so if anyone has some tips or techniques about how to do any of this they'd like to share I'd be extremely grateful.

I don't know how likely a repaint of the TFX-03 accessory pack is for Shadow Commander but it shouldn't be outside the realm of good possibility.

The good news for you if you want to customize the paint on the TFX-03, there's only two main parts of the shoulder missile launchers(the missiles and the launcher) and the UM rifle/City Commander Cannon is a single piece with sliding parts. Painting the items shouldn't be too difficult unless you want to do intricate detailing.

For some tips, Jin Saotome has some online guides. There's a specific guide for basic Transformers painting.

If an accessory pack for the SC is released, I would definitely get a repaint but to make it more unique, maybe FP could replace the missile launchers with dual cannons like in the Hybrid Style Black Convoy:

I'm always up for helping out when I can.

I used to (and may end up again at this rate) work in banks and I asked one of the VP's about the lag from taking money out and a actually paying for the item online and he wasn't sure either but chalked it up to circle verification. He explained it as "your bank checks your funds and the payee withdrawls and the bank checks your funds again and the payee checks their funds and your bank checks again over and over until both get to your transaction in turn." Basically, every time they try to send or receive your money your transaction gets put on a wait list. That's how it was explained to me.

I just hope it actually comes out in October. I cancelled my Superion Upgrade for the final time last week but I'm getting this!
