I thought that it was rather informative, personally.
I'm going to see if I can replicate it, and then I'll set a price. If I'm feeling really nasty, I might show my Carbomian roots and auction it.
I cant make it out personally...maybe it would be better if you did a how to whilst making the backpack. That way people can see how to cut their own pieces and stick it together themselves?

That is a sweet Kup. Well done.
Wish I had skills like that. Best I can do is repaints and the odd bit of spot gluing from other kits. nothing on this level.

Should Kup taunt Hotrod with remarks about being a "Young Punk", Hotrod shoudl remind him he was literally a young punk like himself once. About a week or so ago.

I find it ironic you made Kup out of Hot Rod!

You've gotta wonder how many millions of years old a Transformer has to be before he's not considered a "young punk" anymore.

I might add a faction symbol on the hood, but other than that I'm happy with him.
What do you think he needs?

How did you do the head? And what exactly did you take off of Rodimus's back to put on Kup's back pack? Also what's the piece on Kup's hood? Is it just wood or somethin else?

Heh. Well im a perfectionist and im having to change lots of stuff right at the end to make it transformable, otherwise it would have been finished by now.
The endless problems and mistakes i keep making dont help much either.

I guess I did say that. (He admitted with a shrug)
Now I remember... I was going to paint in the head and tail lights. Aside from a few details that I've already tightened up, that's about it.
Kup's only one of several projects that I've been neglecting lately. Mostly I've been ignoring my Transformers in favor of a Silent Hill "Insane Cancer" (AKA Fat Guy Monster from SH3) 7-inch statue. I have off tomorrow, so I figure I'll buckle down and knock some progress out then.
Thanks for the compliments, everyone. As for your questions Optimus_Prowl: Hot Rod's cockpit and tail assembly all come off with one screw in the pivot. The Kup pack could just as well be attached in the same way, but mine slots into a pair of holes that are already in his shoulders. There are a few posts earlier in the thread with more information about the backpack's construction. The head I made by carving off what I didn't need of Hot Rod's head and building up areas that I needed with epoxy putty. My epoxy putty of choice is "Quikwood". It's the easiest to work with and has the best name. It's also a big part of the hood bit, along with sheet styrene.

Of all the circuit glitched, diode blown dimwittery. You left a piece out! Anyway, all things considered you did an amazing job lad. Amazing. ....looks like you even got rid of a nasty burr in his rotator. Now let's find the Dinobots

and get off of this twisted planet.
