I was kind of wondering about this also—it is the 25th Anniversary after all.

I think we are going to see some new stuff released during the ROTF line, but they will all be repaints with the "25th Anniv" silver logo across the corner. In fact, I just read a rumor that there is going to be Target exclusive repaint of Titanium OP, and it has the 25th logo on the packaging.

I think we are going to see a lot of this, but I'm not expecting any new Classics/Universe molds until well after ROTF. I guess we'll find out during Botcon.

Figures you would like to see in Universe 3.0

Well Seibertronians, IMHO I think the Universe line should continue even in the wake of ROTF. The bottom line is money and most of you may agree that they will still sell despite market sales figures and personal budgets. So despite current events maybe we can send some ideas that can be heard (even if for a bit) by word of mouth and can trickle up to the powers that be at Takara/Hasbro! So who would you like to see from G1 or other get a Universe overhaul? And heaven forbid it's not just another repaint in the name of cost #-o. So it's not a question of can they Seibertronians, because WE know they can but will they!

I have 2 and the first would be any combiners excluding Superion and Bruticus for the reasons that their core bots have been already released and I'm not sure if they could modify them for their merging units. Or can they FansProject etc.? So an updated version (mold) of Stunticons, Technobots, Protectobots, and better Contructicons gundam it! And I don't mean use Energon molds or a POS RID molds, slap some green and purple on and call him Devastator!!

My other would be Fortress Maximus. Now I'm sure most of you may be thinking  right? But the way I see it, if they did it once for RID (which I suck for letting that slip by) why can't they do it again?? And when it comes to cost it's not a thing the manufacturers should worry for cuz if Star Wars fans can shell out money for that big ass Naboo Star ship or that recent Millenium Falcon you know TF like yours truely will be picking up 2...oh like some of you wouldn't :P 'nuff said!

The list is too long and when I read, I felt I will like to see this. But everything has some limit and many a times it becomes a matter of choice. I will like to know the truth when it will actually arrive in the market. Guys, why all of you have kept mum now? I will like to know more updates about what all of you have posted here. I think everything went as per your expectations so you are keeping quiet.

I'd be surprised to see any more Animated toys released that aren't repaints of existing molds. (For instance, I bet there's money to be made on a Slipstream based on the Voyager seeker mold.) In fact, I'd be a little surprised to see any more Animated toys released at all.

Animated is done. Transformers: Prime is the future of this franchise beyond the next Michael Bay movie. I expect to see Prime toys later this year, as the hype around the movie begins to die down.

I don't know that we need "Classics 3.0". I'd like to see Trailbreaker/Hoist folded into some line in the not-too-distant future; but after that, this concept could be shelved for some years.

sadly they cant reissue Fortress Maximus because he doesnt pass todays toy safety tests-in specific the "drop test".they tried in 2005/2006 I believe.

Jetfire and Drift are probably my 2 favorite Classics mold so far for this reason: they both appeared in the IDW comics and not long after, they both recieved highly comic accurate toys. I HATE that Hasbro dropped this trend so quickly. The IDW comic-verse is so insanely full of great original design characters (Nova Prime,Grindcore, Nova Prime, Decimus, Termoil, and did I mention Nova Prime?) and amazing reimagined versions of characters we all know and love (Sentinel Prime, Ratbat, Fortress Maximus, Roadbuster, the list goes on...) and I'd really hate to see all these fantastic designs go to waste. They're all great toys just waiting to be made!
