They do not all tie together for an individual/complete story. However they are referenced in the other current TF comic - I do not have them all so I'm not sure if they reference each other or not. But they do fit into the over all arc of the current comic line....

all of the first wave are new molds. This has been confirmed.

Also from the sounds of it that was a painted early prototype. So we may still see some tweaks and color changes as we get closer to release.

I'm not a club memeber, and for my own reasons I'm not looking to join anytime soon. However I do apreciate that they are a paid membership organization who do their best to provide for the fanbase. I also apreciate that Seibertron which is open to the public respects their rights and only hosts allowed information.

In short, and I'll deny it in public, I respect Burn's integrity here, and yeah, I'll pitch in on this if it happens!

Atlast found the pic, after days of searching Google image etc I typ a really obvious description into Yahoo and BAM! It's on some dudes blog

My thoughts on the figure:

Positives
+ he's thin but that's okay, he was thin in the cartoon.
+ the back of the car looks like a Countach and the front a Gallardo.
+ looks to be super poseable.
+ Classic 2.0 is getting closer! ZOMG! WTFBBQ!

Negatives

- his head looks like it's inspired by the G1 toy which didn't really capture the G1 animation model.
- he has two circle on his crotch that look like a pair of balls.
- his feet are low on detail and look really crappy.

From this one picture I've seen I'd give Sunstreaker a 6.5/10 he looks like a good solid deluxe class figure but not an outstanding one.

I'll buy him and Sideswipe... and any lambo repaints like Red Alert, Tigertracks, Clampdown or Deepcover

Concerning the other toys announced:

- Tankor is a really stupid name.
- Where's Warpath, I want Warpath! Wham zam zoop!
- I wonder what kind of car Prowl will be? since he was a 280z will his new model be a 350z? or what about the upcoming Nissan GT-R? *skeet*
- Yay Powerglider, he featured quite abit in Season 2 so whether you like him or not he deserves a figure but I admit him being an ultra made me WTF but I'm still looking forward to him.
- Preorders on cases of these figs are going to bet snapped up REAL quick - Ebay gaugers will have a field day.
- When can we expect to hear what other figs will be in wave one and two? cause it's not just these 5 right?

Also, I appreciate that you guys didn't quote the link. It'll make it much easier to delete when a mod/admin gets to it.

How about option 3.5? I have the same user name just to make my life easier. Unfortunately I didn't realize that people would be getting in trouble just for linking to the site so I spoke to one of the Mod's there to take it down. If anyone here has gotten into trouble I'm sorry. By the by the reason I posted the picture is because I'm going to be retiring from doing the Transfomer/Mecha news at Inside Pulse for a bit and wanted to give something back to my readers, sort of a thank you since the majority of them aren't members of the club. I'll crawl back to the Macross and GI Joe threads with my tail between my legs now.

They actually sent out an email reminding people to NOT scan and share any of the images.

Which for me I do appreciate because it generally takes a month for the damn thing to get to me and by then every man and his dog has read it, member or not.

I have to say, seeing that picture a few paces above me, I'm not all that impressed with the robot mode. The proportions just seem.....wrong. And it seems like too many parts of him are just hanging off, particularly the roof-chest.

The alt mode looks good, but by now, we've seen several car designs similar to this in past lines, so there isn't much of a "wow" factor.

All in all, this Sunstreaker would rank towards the bottom when compared to the Classics 1.0 lineup. I sure hope it isn't a sign of things to come in the rest of the line....

And quite frankly, "Tankor" is more fitting of a tanker truck (because "Tanker" would just sound stupid) than "Octane".

Cripes, man! What is all this whining aboout proportions. If you look at the original G1 Sideswipe/Red Alert, their arms are a lot skinnier. I mean, they look wimpy and 3 sizes too small. But they still look cool. And with G1 Sunstreaker, his arms were like Popeye. But his legs were like 2X4's. This new one sounds like it is a vast improvement, and just enjoy it for what it is. I mean, we are getting two transformations out of 1 figure here. That rocks! We haven't had a decent Sunstreaker and Sideswipe in YEARS. The Alt Sunstreaker looks screwed up in bot mode, and Sideswipe is only marginally better. With these now ones, it does both the characters justice, finally. Besides, I am sure he was not completely transformed properly either, knowing Hasbro's photographers. So, give him a friggin chance for crying out loud.

As for Tankor? So they changed his name. We ALL know he's Octane. BFD. Just like we all know that Rodimus is Hot Rod, but they can't use the name any more. Get over it, and look at the big picture here. We're getting MORE Classics, and they're not cheap crap! That's fantastic! Be happy.

I personally see no actual logic behind calling a truck, flat or long nosed or fire engine Optimus Prime, because their is none.

The name belongs to the character who takes on that disguise.
Whether other names suit it's alt more or not is irrelevant.

However, Hasbro's naming hasn't stopped people calling Meister Jazz, Shockblast Shockwave and Rodimus Hot Rod, so I do see why it's not that big a deal for most of us.
