Hes my pririty too but I want to ship other sets of stickers at the same time and I dont really know what else to get. Is there any sticker set you found made a huge difference on a once lackluster toy?
Not yet, I'm a big scaredy cat. I haven't even applied the stock stickers that came with Gen Whirl or Roadbuster or Leader Megs. If I'm basing it off reviews and pictures I would say Prime Knockout seems to make the biggest difference. My repro wishlist has grown quite large and expensive at this point. I've heard nothing but good things; has anyone here dipped their toes in the repro waters yet?

Please share this wishlist withus, it might inspire me.

I do have quite a few reprolabels some I bought myself and others that came with toys. SO far they are all great and they are:

Alternators Jazz
ROTF Leader Optimus
Movie Hound (HUGE difference!, perfect set)
MP Wheeljack (it was a promotion for 1$ and I feel you dont get that much out of it)

And the folowing G1s to rejuvinate the second hand ones I bought:

Optimus
Wheeljack
Slugslinger

william-james88 wrote:I got my reprolabels and can finally patch up those G1s.

Also,I am glad a new caliburst target master has appeared in the generations line because now slugslinger can use him again!

There are 100s of Repro sets I would love to get but it all always boils down to one thing. It's money I could spend on another toy. I still to this day have never bought a set of Repros.

What makes him the best? How is he better than Prime, or Wheeljack?
'Cause I said so. :-P
No. Because Bluestreak has always been my favorite toy and character. I already love the MP Datsun mold, and now he comes in this awesome blue deco. I love the head nod to the DiaClone era, and you know how much I like early TF history. Also I have a slight thing against Prowl, but the Prowl mold is even closer in design to the G1 toy than the Bluestreak mold. That is strumming on my heart strings as well. It's all about an emotional attachment over anything technical. Which of course makes no sense, as emotions never do.

BJandtheBear wrote:How do you find that Animated Slug? Could you rank the 3 animated dinos?

Me, it would go Swoop, Slug (every other animated figure aside from blitzwing and voyager Megs) then Grimlock.
I like him just fine. His transformation is simple, but I like his character design in both modes. Plus he was free, so I can't complain.
He is the only Ani dino I have. I've never been all that interested in Grimlock, but I am thinking of making an expedition into the jungle to capture a Swoop. Maybe the TAV variety.

I'm glad you came over to play in the Collect-O-Tron Willy. I hope you'll come play more often. ;)

I reaaaaaaaally like the set for Combiner Wars "G1" leader Megatron. And I got the one for Combiner Wars voyager Optimus Prime. I was thinking about the sets for my growing MP collection..so maybe I'll jump on those.

You guys can junk it up in here!

Yes, I want CW Prime, MP Magnus, and Metroplex stickers to name a few.

Will hooked me up with a PRID Ultra Magnus that already had labels applied and he looks magnificent!

I actually have the opportunity to go into the studio to work all day today, but you guys party it up in here. I'll check back around lunch time. ;)^

When I get a chance I'll list a few that are on top of the list.

They stay pretty well? I hear they are vinyl (like our couch) and a little hair dryer action tightens 'em up real nice.

I need to just bite the bullet and get one cheap set to pop that shy sticker cherry I have.

Sure thing!

As for Swoop, I dont know if you saw this post I made:

william-james88 wrote:A while back, Cobotron was talking about Transformer toys which fit a certain character profile. I just got animate swoop in TAV deco (anyone want to tell me what the deco is referencing?) and when his neck isnt strechted out, it looks like he has a pointy hood. Yeah that TAV Swoop is pretty boss! I like his coloring better than the original.

I've got the Ani Grims waiting in my stack, I'd like to add some version of the other two at some point.

*snip: a whole mess-o-funs in the collect-o-tron*

You should come hang with us crazies more often 8-}

Anyways, I guess I owe ya's a reprolables list.

Disclaimer: I feel all my figures could use a repro sprucing up, but that's really not very realistic, so I will go with a few stand outs that either caught my eye or have just been on the wants list for a while.

MP-10: them trailer stickers are totally boss, I'd probably skip the rest.

PRID Knockout: totally different figure after, seriously.

CW Magnus: same as MP-10, the in cab stickers add some fun little details and the rest of the set makes it way more IDWy, which is up my alley.

But if I had to pick only one to try out, PRID Knockout. He's such an ugly lil turduckhen of a figure for such a fun character. I'd love to slap some bling on him and copy the how to video and paint his rims yeller. I really do love his character, he's just so metro, everything he says is so full of sexy time. He reminds me of our cat, so self absorbed and constantly preening.

EDIT: Holy schnikes, didya know that reprolables toyhax has backdrops now?

I did know about those back drops, but I have not seen CW Magnus stickers. :-? sounds interesting.

I had this thought, maybe next time it's a movie year, and I can pull out of toys for a bit, I will commit to some stickers.

Ct1, I just put one of those Impossible Toys Mini Chargers in my PoL. :P

Yup, that was their new big thing. They arent giving them away though.

:-? CW Magnus, could be interesting. Then again I did skip the takara to save money...

And I dont feel that reprolabels would spruce up all my figures. I dont like anyof the stickers they have for combiner wars since it doesnt gell well with the modern look of the toys, for instance. I will have to check out knowckout. I dont have that deco though (only beast hunters, which is great too, but for difference reasons).

When I say spruce up, I specifically mean the neat cybertron glow effect a lot of the sets have.

I'm split 50/50 on a lot of the sets, because I would only want to use about 50% of them.

99% of the figures I own are hasbro and while I "saved" money buying them locally, it's hard to justify, let's say $7+ per figure for a little bit of fancy. One of the things I've noticed is that some of the stickers cover molded bits, and I think I'd have hard time using those.

So I could only ever justifying sets that make huge changes, such as MP-10's trailer or even PRID Knockout. Much like Cobz said, I'd rather new figures than sticker sheets.

One set I forgot to mention (if money grew on trees), is one that would require a dupe figure. The Macross set for leader Jetfire. Ummmm... sexy.

Good point. I just looked at it and their stickers pretty much go where all takara's paint is. They look cool though, and really spruce up Hasbro's. I love the way they do the IDW glowy energy under-panels.
I like the CW Prime one because it covers thos ugly unpainted grey bits, the silver stripes look nice, and the stickers that go in his open combiner chest look sweeeeee-eet! That Megatron set looks dope, if not just for the chest hairs.

Carry, I have the same problem with only wanting to apply 50% of sets which doesnt bode well with my need to maximize my purchases.

What I like best of the magnus set is actually the same thing about MP Prime's trailer, how it turns a bland area full of fun with command center stickers for Minimus' seating area.
