I'm glad you like looking at these beast buddies.
The green shelves are actually parts of a tree I built. If you look at the first pic, you can just make out the trunk back in the corner...
Cobotron wrote:Donny, FYI, those are the Dioder LED pucks from Ikea. They are awesome. Nice and bright, and have a really wide beam.

Wired just like the Dioder strips you have. Power supply - 4 way junction - lights. they can't be daisy chained though. They come with really nice 2 sided adhesive disks. For glass shelves, I would guess. They look kewl, are they wired or battery operated?

That's the one. I have the Fox Kids repaint, in the second pic. He had the best 3rd vehicle mode out of that whole line. I liked how it was a F15ish jet that harkened back to a Seeker look.Big BW fan ive had a few figures over the years i think out of them all Transmetals waspinator is my fave , not sure if that was the correct name but its the black red and gold chrome ? version

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I know! wasn't that such an awesome throwback to Starscream? MAN I wish Waspinator had gone TM in the showCobotron wrote:That's the one. I have the Fox Kids repaint, in the second pic. True dat. Season 1 has a lot of filler being 24 episodes, whereas season 2-3 are 24 episodes together. If you are so inclined, I could give you a widdled down list of essential season 1 episodes to watchCobotron wrote:Donny - I'm tellin' ya, I bet you would like Beast Wars. You gotta kind of grit your teeth and push through the first season (or at least the 1st half of it), but it's worth it. Animation is pretty dated, but a good marker of where CG came from and how far it has come.

My display IS very crowded. It can be a real "Where's Waldo" in there. I will admit I have always thought it is something that is best viewed in person. It's a real b!#@h to photograph.
Do you use Ivar for your collection?

Computron was my only complete combiner as a kid. And that's the one.donny1975 wrote:Love it! Computron was always a fav! The Astrotrain bomb pop is genius!

Hopefully being out of town was enjoyable, vaca? I'll be going out of town in a few weeks for work to TX. Can almost taste the BBQ...yeehaw!

Right?! I've ended up liking my oddball MP's more than my slavish cartoon accurate ones. My Exhaust, Tigertrack, Soundblaster, YOTG Prime, King Grim.... seriously I like them all more than the "proper" ones.Cobotron wrote:I wanted to share and talk about my latest haul. It's kind of a doozy!
Exhaust. The figure is GREAT! I'm a big fan of Wheeljack, but dare I say, I like this use a little better? There are just some subtle differences that really set it off. The blue translucent used in the headlights and wings looks fantastic, and the head sculpt is a old school Takara HOME RUN!!!!
Yeah.... it's just the nature of the beast. There's very few 3P purchases that I've actually regretted. But I usually make DAYUM sure I won't regret it before I finally fork over the cash.Cobotron wrote:ROAR
I'm really happy with the figure, but I gotta admit, I'm having some strange feelings. Like I did something wrong, or betrayed an old friend. I'm also having a hard time swallowing the price. I understand all the factors that go into pricing these 3P toys, but Roar really costs 3 times what he should, or could. Any of you guys who dabble in 3P had this feeling?
I got worried when I promoted UM to donny and you. Everyone's different, and even though I love him doesn't mean others will. So I'm relieved you both ended up happy with him cause he's one expensive buggerCobotron wrote:Ultra Magnus
What do I really need to say about this guy? He is just F#@$ING AWESOME! I mean AWESOME! I have no complaints about him. His transformation is a thing of beauty. It could have been so tedious, but it's actually FUN! I don't even care about the shoulder thing or the no waist swivel.
I saved up for 6 months for this guy. He was so worth the wait. The best Transformer I've bought this year! Hands down.
