I appreciate the little extra mile Uncle Hasby went to make this possible. Neat little homage to the OG toys' gimmick of combination.
But, it's really just kinda there. It's cool but kinda not that cool.
One thing that is real cool, is all the added articulation to Blackwing's wings. You can finagle them into all kinds of positions.

I still like that mode, even if it is just one connection holding them together from what I've read. They are on my want list as well but I actually want blackwing more, he owns that colour scheme.

They are on these big ball joints which gives you some options for how and where they hang on his back.
