I pretty much have him the way I like him and that's how he'll stay. I get the PTSD. All that stuff stresses me out too. I still haven't even tried out ALL his accessories.
Thats pretty smart, it looked quite diverse from shot to shot, so its a nice setup you got for Raideen. And yeah, I too didnt use all his accessories. While he is a nice display piece, he isn't a toy I feel like playing with.
Also, for the ATAT, of course my wife would not let me leave it around but also since I already have so many TFs, if I started getting into Star Wars too, I think she would explode.
I am always reminded of this:

Man! That is tough one. I mean I feel out of principle the Falcon is my favorite. I think. But I also for some reason love the Snow Speeder. AT-ATs and AT-STs are some of the coolest vehicles for sure. I mean, like I mentioned before, I was 5 when I saw TESB. The Battle of Hoth left a HUGE impression on me. I got the OG AT-AT that very Christmas. By far the biggest and baddest Star Wars toy (and Xmas gift for that matter) I ever had. I played with and loved the hell out of that thing. Still have it today.shajaki wrote:Am I the only one who thinks that the AT-AT is the be-all-end-all Star Wars vehicle? I'm pretty jelly, I've always wanted a bigass AT-AT toy
william-james88 wrote:Also, for the ATAT, of course my wife would not let me leave it around but also since I already have so many TFs, if I started getting into Star Wars too, I think she would explode.
But also, the Wife-O-Tron once described the contents of the 'Tron as "White Noise", so she probably doesn't even notice.
Speaking of Star Wars vehicles and collecting them.
I ran out to Walmart this evening to grab a handful of groceries. I strolled down the clearance aisle, as I always do, and there was a big stack of Walmart exclusive First Order Tie Fighters. They were marked down to $19.99 from $39.99. I thought ok, I'll grab a sweet looking Tie Fighter for 20 buxx. I can handle that.
Went through the self checkout, and it scanned for......
DONKEY PUNCHING NINE DOLLARS!!!!!

WOOHOO! SCORE!!!

@Will - Nice! Walmart is just rolling back the Star wars stuff. It happened again to me too. They had Kylo's Tie Fighter marked down to 19.99. I found a price scanner, and sure enough it scanned for 13.99. I however did not buy it because I realized at that moment. I don't really care about Kylo Renn anymore, Thanks for that Mr. Johnson!
But yeah, when the clearance at Wallytown is good, it's really good. I picked up all my Rogue One collection on clearance of some kind or another. Not paying full retail for things can be quite addictive.

BUT on a more positive note, that AT-ACT is a great score at that price. It looks like a really fun toy!

I want, and will have, the Lego set of Kylos TIE. I'm just waiting for it to hit clearance.

It IS a cool looking ship. I won't deny that.Ironhidensh wrote:I want, and will have, the Lego set of Kylos TIE. I'm just waiting for it to hit clearance.
When I first saw TFA I thought it was awful. Then I saw it again and thought, you know, that was fun. Then I bought the DVD, watched it a few more times, and realized I really liked Daisy and John's performances. They were genuine. And I started to really enjoy and care about Rey and Finn's friendship and bond, and found that that aspect was enough to carry the movie for me.
TLJ took all that good character dev on those two, and just wiped it's ass with it. But SureShot, your right, the only bit of decent character dev in TLJ was Kylo. He did actually show some depth.
But in the end, I just find I have no attachment to anyone in these new films except R2 and Chewy.
I'm really hoping Abrams can pull it back together and give me something to care about.
I feel the force is STRONG with Solo though. Can't wait!
Hence..... RANGE TROOPERS!!!

AND!!!! That dope Takara SF Land book came in on Friday!
It's money farming amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!

And Cobo, did you also buy the force link starter pack thing, that glove that gives the toys sound effects? I am really surprised the brought back that idea from the Phantom Menace toyline (after it ravaged poor old Kenner).

Y'know, even with all the negativity from TLJ, I'm pretty pumped for Solo. It looks good, I doubt it will be tainted by the same ailments of TLJ, and I have a little more faith in the side stories now since Rogue One was so fantasticCobotron wrote:I feel the force is STRONG with Solo though. Oh man! Nothing but! I wish you guys could just come over and look at it. If I had a functioning scanner, I would buy a second copy to cut up and scan. Just so I could propagate the interweb with all it's historical glory.ZeroWolf wrote:Cobo! Any really nice pics in that book?
Not sure how I can share it with you guys, but I want to.
My thoughts exactly! You know there is talk of a Kenobi one off? the talk was that it would take place during his solitude on Tatooine. I would love to see that. and would love it if Ewan took up the role again.shajaki wrote:Y'know, even with all the negativity from TLJ, I'm pretty pumped for Solo. You will love him. One of the best MP designs yet.
And yes, Solo looks to wash away the bad taste left behind from TLJ.

I think it comes down to the wants being higher than the haves. I have the things, I want/need to sell the things to then maybe buy more things?Cobotron wrote:Yeah, Cram! Explain yourself!shajaki wrote:Why wouldn't you want to buy Artfire??!itscramtastic wrote: don't have to buy Artfire.
Also, I've priced myself out of a lot of things. I think my new limit on a figure once a year is $130, which DX9 Carry will be just under! Most things I want to pick up I want to be under $50, under $35 preferably. I'm really hoping I don't regret getting Carry. That could be two smaller MPs potentially, like MPM Bumblebee and Ironhide or something.
