Oh yeah, he's cool. He's a big badass brawler. I like a great big giant robot toy. He has his shortcomings. Mostly in individual smaller bot modes. I think Headstorng is my favorite indy bot (was that even his name in this release? I can't keep track). Also a big badass brute. But he really shines in combined mode. Perhaps blasphemy to some, but I have him on display with my MPs. I think he looks awesome up there. But, it's also the only place I had space. :lol:

Well, specifically down an Iron factory hole. A lot of this New Age and other stuff looks really great, especially those New age Datsuns, but I like that IF offers new and different designs on the classic characters. It makes me feel better about it to collect versions of my favorite guys in designs I don't already have in other scales.

I have a bunch of photos I need to post, and still some IF stuff to photograph, but I just keep not finding the time. And I'll admit my hobby/play thoughts have drifted to other endeavors as of late. I'm still coming down from my Ren Faire high, and already ramping up to the next faire season in September.

I've gone down a few happy holes myself... Speaking of, still trying decide where PredaKOng will go once he's completed. I'm thinking on my desk as a cord and headphone organizer. The right leg is already holding a spare USB C to C 8-}

I'm trying hard to resist the legends cave, but that IF Soundwave is very tempting and if snatch up a Prowl rerelease in a heartbeat!

Iron Factory Phantom

He's one of my soft spot guys. My first not Minibot Transformer toy when I was a sapling.
This version is FANTASTIC! Alt modes not that bad for an Iron Factory build. Awesome bot mode. Rubber tires, and that Pharoid headsculpt!

Crap! Toon style head is cool too!

He's got a cool scorpion mode with awesome articulated scorpio-legs. He comes with a hilariously adorable little booger of a Head Master, and can do a ok base mode. I went back and forth whether to get him or their Scorpinok, but the red chrome and the giant spear won me over.

Then the air show blasted into town!

Which led to needing to asses the entire Legends scale ARMY OF DESTRUCTION!

Not sure if I even posted anything about Skywarp and Thundercracker. Sunstorm is a bi-product of those two and the Coneheads. The two OG Seekers came each with Sunstorms arms and legs, and the Conies came with his head and torso. BONUS SEEKER!!!!

This figure is pretty spot on. His feet could be tighter, but he is pretty sweet otherwise. I was on the fence about him because I thought T30 was good enough, but I like this one better. Always my favorite TF:TM character, and this one gives me a vibe more akin to that clunky old G1 toy I liked.

With a name like Steel Lucifer, he can't be good. I don't much about the character, but maybe he started good or he thought he had the best of intentions? Either way his base bot mode reminds me of this guy.

Nice toys! Yeah Nova Prime was the big bad of Furman's era of IDW. He was kind of pushed off centre stage by the likes of Galvaltron and Shockwave. He even went by the moniker, Nemesis Prime for a while. Who knows what Furman would have done with him...

Yeah! I think Swipe is the dope bizy, but something about this deco really does it for me.

The head is great. Fitting for the character, and just different enough from Swipe's. I haven't partied the ax much. It's ok. I remember you raving about it, and I'm glad you think it's cool! ;)^
