He did, but has recently done some roles (like Fury) that have been down right respectable.

Also I'm one of the 4 people in the world who liked Crystal Skull :-$

It's funny we're all still talking about Last Jedi. I recently watched it for a second time. Upon first viewing, I knew there was something off. It's nowhere near the prequels, but it left me unfulfilled nonetheless. Second viewing though, all the cracks were showing. Now my opinion is fully formed, and I really dislike it.

My only interest now is to see how they salvage this trainwreck :POPCORN:

LEGO Star Wars Range Trooper from Solo

This dude is so badass looking. Like, on a cold winter day, I'm gonna punch a hole through your house and grab you outta bed by the neck, kinda badass. Really like how the design of different Troopers is being handled in these new movies. The kit was a fairly easy build, but the results are dope. The fur collar be pimp as hey-ell! Putting out an interesting WWII Russian vibe.

Nice cobo! Which Ultra Magnus is that in the group shot, I don't recognise it.

Those sw figures look sweet, and I've become addicted to the little bricks...I've gone crazy for the infinity war sets, the temptation to have a lego infinity gauntlet was too much.

The LEGO SW figs was a very unexpected rabbit hole I tripped down. But as a whole I try to stay away from LEGO. And not because they're not awesome. :lol:

I can play that card as well with my son ;-)

though to be fair I do let him play with my sets, he's drawn to my lego guardians of the galaxy crew, iron man and thanos. Only one I don't let him play with is starlords new ship (the superbly named benatar) that's because it's heavy and the wings aren't held on by the strongest of connections.

@cobo I also spot Raideen doing some poses on the background there along with the centaur knight that I'm still trying to track for you, got a bit closer he other day as I came across other pictures of it but the person who put the pics up only had it listed as transformer ko from Taiwan...which wasn't that helpful really.

My kids definitely share a lot of the same interests aa me (they're both under 7), and it's the best seeing them mix n match toy brands to fit their imagination. The only toys off-limits are in Daddy's Cupboard (MPs, vintage robits, special edition games, etc.).

I like Lego but with young kids, its not so obvious. My little girl likes the minifigs though. But since they will lose evrything and devalue any set I get, the sets she plays with these days are Lepin (fake lego). I would get a heart attack if she misplaced a piece to a hudred dollar lego set so those will wait till much later.

I never had to worry with my oldest with my g1 toys, he was more interested in my newer stuff :-P

So I was digging through the Google Realm researching Diaclone bad guys (the Waruder) toys yesterday and I came across this dope illustration.

I clicked on it and discovered that it is the cover of a brand new book that covers the history of what is known as the Takara SF Land. The history of all Takara Sci-fi toys starting from the 60's with Henshin Cyborg (which really starts with 12 inch GI Joe) and works it's way through Microman, Diaclone, Transformers (I assume), Battle Beasts, and so much more.

If you've hung out with me long enough y'all probably know by now, this is my most favorite thing to think/learn about in all of the toy collectordom.

Needless to say, I ordered the **** out of it! :lol:

Should get here in a few weeks.

Also, to note: I'm pretty sure that cover art is by the same Japanese illustrator who did the piece in my sig. Which is what caught my eye in the first place.

That does look like an awesome book. I was pretty happy that TFL had those Diaclone/Microman pages that I could read up on. It's a really awesome concept/world. I'm glad you ordered it, I can't wait for the in-depth review!!

I love that guy's work! If it is indeed the same artist. Pretty sure it is.

I can ID almost everybody on there except the girl in the barrette, and I assume the big dude with the blue head in the back is a Diaclone guy.
But, I don't see anybody that resembles a TF. Maybe the book is everything but TFs.

That looks like an awesome book, I've got a few like that which I get solely for the pictures. I recognised a few off the bat like jeeg and the mech that would become superhuman samurai cyber squad in the West (loved the opening of that and the look of the main bad guy)

Well I paid $44 on eBay, but in hind site I looked it up on amazon.jp who had it for 2700 Yen, which would come to about $24 Us. Give or take. And it was available for shipping to the US.

Hind site is alway 20/20.

Lesson learned!
Next time.

Still glad I nabbed it, and am psyched to get it.
