Cyberverse Commander Transformers Prime Optimus Prime/Megatron = legends/scout
RTS G1 Optimus Prime/G1 Megatron = legion?

That upscaled Cyberverse Predaking, I actually bought! It's the only thing from BH I grabbed, it was on sale, and I'd heard good things. And he is indeed a nifty Dragotron
And Dinobots.... Those lil WW Dino's are tempting, but I'd want them to be actual Dino's. And Warbotrons Grim is all kinds of awesome, but he's four members shy of a team

Cyberverse Commander Transformers Prime Optimus Prime/Megatron = legends/scout
RTS G1 Optimus Prime/G1 Megatron = legion?
Not really.
Scout has to be able to interact with bigger toys. It cannot be a bigger character in a smaller scale. There isnt really a defined place for those at the moment since they are a relatively new class. It gets even blurrier when you look at Huffer and Warpath. He is meant to interact and scale with the bigger bots but he is made using the mold of a toy that wasnt. But then again, the elader class is also up in shambles in terms of scale. The Leader Seekers are clearly not supposed to be in scale with Leader Magnus or Jetfire.
I guess in the end, the Legends class is really a class all on its own which combined different scales together.
But man, things get weird, I mean think about it within the same line, we have 2 thundercrackers and 2 Grooves. And they are same interpretation of the same character
But RTS G1 Optimus Prime and G1 Megatron are definitely Legion.

Really what it boils down to is what ever works for you. Some guys are smaller versions of bigger characters, some are the right size for their characters. It gets really fun when you can create a decently scaled team of any given crew (peep sig). I will agree that when they were called Scouts they were meant to be the smaller characters. In Cybertron or Gen/Tak Legends. In essence Legends/Scout/Basic/Commander are all tooled essentially to the same scale. Which, in the wash, comes out to price point.

I am so very thankful that none of the legends molds used for bigger characters at a different scale are better than th ones used for smaller characters because I can simply call my list Best Scouts/Legends and not worry about precising the scale thing so much

Today, I was looking at Sky Reign and OpMax, and, I decided to switch things up and make my own combiners. First, I took BC Prime and combined him with Bravo, Rook, Ratchet, and Tigatron to make my own White Knight. Then, I decided that the White Knight needed a sidekick, so I took Sky Lynx and combined him with Ironhide, Prowl, Smokescreen, and Wheeljack to create the Red White and Blue Rescuer (name still in idea stage). The guys that I had left (Hound, Trailbreaker, Mirage, and Sunstreaker) were combined with Scatter-not to form Betatron, who is probably (and ironically) my favorite of the bunch.

Hey N! You know me. I love a good scramble. Glad you found some insperato in the White Knight. All those combos sound good. My White Knight crew has kind of just been commandeered by Sky Lynx, which leaves BCP with the Sky Reign team. I think they look better on him anyway. This all reminds me that I haven't even stuck Groove on anybody yet. Might have to free up Smokescreen off of BCP, 'cause you know I like to have at least one Datsun Bro stand alone.
Anyway, my Father's Day dessert treat showed up earlier than expected. Sooooo glad I held out. He is on super clearance at tru.com right now for $49.98 w/ free shippsies! I would have never paid the full $150 they were asking, and apparently neither would anyone else.

I think I'll wait til tonight to open him. I gotta bunch of "grown up" crap to do. Starting to day dream of some colored LED lit back lighting shots for old Butterscotch here.
I would recommend this mold any day to everyone, but I think this version is kind of an acquired taste. The mold was so ahead of it's time and if I did a Top 5 Willy List of best Prime toys, he would be on it.
That reminds me Will, I worked on the L/L list over the weekend. Just a few minor edits and a shot or two of my L/L collection and it'll be good ta gizzy!
