You really aren't the only one Will. With Computron on pre-order, I've put myself on a 2 month Transformers lockdown. Gotta be able to afford him when he comes and by that time TR should be in my stores so I can start buying them. I just need to stop spending money now so I have it all then!

That toy is so amazing and I love this goofy deco. I have RID Scourge, but it's been awhile since I played with him. I forgot about all the sweet weapons and accessory storage. And Scourge was neutered of the lights feature, so that's awesome to see. I also don't recall being able to see inside Scourge's cabin, where there are awesomely sculpted seats, dash, and steering wheel.

At least you guys have money. I haven't had any since February or March. Thankfully, I'll be getting $75 over the next week, which I'll use to buy PC-09 for Bruticus and a second Offroad to complete Galvatronus.

Ha! It's a funky 3P/KO company's Dinobot Combiner that came out maybe 2 years ago. But this one is done up in AOE colors. I had actually thought about getting that a while back. I think it's real neat looking, and those new colors look fun.

Yeah I love that transformation and my daughter being born the year of the goat makes this a nice memento. And I actually dont care for the butterscotch, I just care for getting a full Soundwave for less than 100$ and having fun with him. I do love that clear plastic but I wish the hghlights were in blue.

By the way, what is Soundwave exactly. He aint a boombox and none of the micro casette players I have seen actually look like him.

No doubt that is an amazing price for the entire set. They had him at TRU for $70 when I nabbed Prime, but they're all gone now.

I don't know. I have never seen a player quite like him. Similar, but not the same. I always figured he was just an approximation by the Takara designer, of a player/recorder to get the point across and make a good robot toy.

Alright, thats what I figured too. Its odd how it does have that boombox outline without the speakers.
And wow, 70$ is a much better deal that I got. I mean think of all the toy you are getting. Soundwave plus 5 casettes plus Megatron in gun mode. Kinda changes the perception of the value of toys a bit. I will go hide in a corner now with the realization taht my deal wasnt as cool as I thought (but it was still a good deal for a canadian).

Actually wait, before i go hide, I have a fun story. I would have preferred a coloured Soundwave and someone was selling his used MP Soundwave. But by the time I called him, it was sold for 150, the takara version with only lazerbeak. I didnt mind too much since it was more than I would have spent on the figure and i picked up the guy's thundercracker instead for a more manageable price. Then I see YOTG Soundwave available through a local listing and i buy him. When I ask the guy why he no longer wants it, he tells me its because he just picked up a used Takara soundwave for 150. :lol:
