I don't think they are KOs. Those Dinos are just made by a Chinese toy factory. They aren't copies of anything else. They probably were just developed in house at the factory. They do pretty much rip off the transformations from the G1 toys though.william-james88 wrote:Cobotron wrote:Janky. What cary said.

These guys made some other "original" combiner toys that were a thing of their own. One was rescue themed, I think.
I don't think the AOE "KOs" are KOs. They are just a new run from this factory of those molds in AOE colors to ... well ... sell to people for money.

THEY DO! They store in his tail in dino mode too. Really nice touch. I was a little bummed he didn't come with a sword, but the tomahawks are really growing on me.carytheone wrote:Do those blue hatchets fold up in alt mode?
Lots! Slag has always been my main dino, so I'm psyched to have this guy. The QC on this fig is good, and has all the tight construction the ToyWorld dinos have. The triceratops head cowl, always one of my fav details of the character is great. Love the colors. Articulation is good. Really like the over all sculpt and details. Dino mode is good. My only thing so far, is that he is a tad lanky. To me Slag is a tank. Shorter, squatter, thicker than the others in robot mode. Dreg's legs are just a bit too long and svelte, but over all, I'm diggin' him. So glad I waited for the Diablue version. It's really fun to have a update companion to my OG childhood toy.shajaki wrote:Love Diaslag. How much is Brotron loving him?
I still think that maybe, out of the four TW dinos I have, Roar (not Snarl) might still be my favorite. Something about his robot mode shouts HARDASS! I'm gonna pull them all of the shelf now and play with them together. Do a little compare and contrast.
Probably end snapping some shots while I'm at it.

Does he have a translucent head?
Is the ball joint that his head is on the same size as Thrust?
Is there a screw in the back of his head?
I ask all this because I heard a rumor that Universe Sunstorm is the TFSS 5.0 mystery figure, and I would want to swap the regular Seeker head from UW Scream (Starscream having the wrong head wouldn't matter, given that he'd be in combined mode all the time) onto Sunstorm (as I don't like the conehead-style head).
Of course, it also might be the G1 one, so I might not have to do that.

My gut says yes. Judging by the rest of the toy, and the head seems to be completely painted.Autobot N wrote:I have a couple of questions about UW Starscream:

Hard to say, but I think yesIs the ball joint that his head is on the same size as Thrust?
No.Is there a screw in the back of his head?
Sunstorm was never a Conehead to begin with, so I would think that he would come with the normal head. Cool rumor if it pans out.I ask all this because I heard a rumor that Universe Sunstorm is the TFSS 5.0 mystery figure, and I would want to swap the regular Seeker head from UW Scream (Starscream having the wrong head wouldn't matter, given that he'd be in combined mode all the time) onto Sunstorm (as I don't like the conehead-style head).

As in painted with the translucent paint on other parts of Scream, or in solid colors?Cobotron wrote:My gut says yes. Judging by the rest of the toy, and the head seems to be completely painted.

Hmm. Does it seem like there's any way to remove the head? No.

Keep hope alive, young blood!Hopefully
Only by force.Hmm. Does it seem like there's any way to remove the head?
Oh. then that would lead me to believe he will just be a repaint of Thrust.I think it was this one.

Actually, there's a lot of 3P KO's of note lately... Warbotron's Bruticus (same size), and MT's Metroplex/Titan (upsized).william-james88 wrote:I know this makes me sound like a terrible human, but a good chunk of me is hoping those 3p dinos of yours get the same KO treatment as the Feral Rex gangThey will then be mine.
