I get to ship the Sentinel and Galvatron case that's sitting in my POL at BBTS. Since I don't have any money, my parents were kind enough to allow me to pre-purchase those two and the Deluxes for my 15th birthday.

Yeah, there's just something different about finding a figure you want in the store, but the one thing I don't like about it is that the thing is never guaranteed to be there, whereas I can guarantee that I'll get it by closely watching BBTS. Besides, we never get new stuff around here anyway.

I didn't pull the trigger on those TRU.ca Titan pre-orders (that strangely had the sale price) because I was worried about finding them in store while still waiting for them to arrive in the mail. And now I think they saw their error cause those sale prices (and items) are gone

My waffling as of late has caused me a lot of grief

You can have the best of both worlds though. You can find them in the store before those who preordered AND get them at the sale price. Because you have a buddy who can scan rainchecks.



Also, I preordered as a hedge. If I find them at retail, I will buy them and keep the receipt. Like that when I get them in the mail I will just return them with the receipt of the first toy. Come out to the same thing for everyone and I get to guarantee I have my toy with the chance of getting it earlier.

I'm gonna take this line real slow. I don't mind paying a couple bucks more for Masters/Legends/Deluxes just for that "Store Fresh" feeling. Especially if the spending is spread out. The bigger classes I'll prolly wait for HTS and the like for codes and deals.

That's the plan anyway. We'll see how it goes.

Yeah, but I wish I'd hedge pre-ordered too. And I don't think they'd accept a raincheque from Quebec. They get miffed sometimes when I take a raincheque and use it for a different store in the same town. They've actually been giving me a lot of shyt lately

WHAT?! Thats is nonsensical. TRU isnt a franchise, it shouldnt matter which store. To the point that in quebec, when I get a raincheck sometimes they staple the list of stores in the area with their numbers. That is odd man and I am very sorry about the trouble they are giving you, especially when they really shouldnt.

Btw to anyone who doesn't follow my own collection thread, my mom found a Transformers Cybertron Scout Clocker online for a really good price, and with all the parts, so she got it for me as a surprise early b-day gift. She's the best! Cybertron Clocker I have been wanting again for years now since he was my first Transformer, and I lost him in the dust years ago. Just check my thread if you want to see pictures, since I don't want to crowd Cobo's thread with a bunch of photos.
