I've noticed that you always seem to put the Autobots on the left and the Decepticons on the right. I do the exact opposite (I'm usually backasswards though). That poses a fun poll. Does anyone have a preferencial bias when poses fight scenes? Is there a right or wrong way? Does one way feel more right and why? Is it from the old group shots found in artwork, catalogs and/or check list posters?

I would love to have ALL THE BOTS on display, but I know for a fact both kids would want to transform the sh*t out of all of them. My boy loves going alt to bot n back over & over until he masters a transformation. That's great for CHUGs -- not so much for G1 vintage or MPs.
So besides the bots in my cupboard, my setups occur only when meme-spiration hits. And when that happens, I generally go with whichever side looks best on a bot, the angle, etc.Even in the cupboard, though, the factions are all mixed -- the War is truly over, it seems.

A new Powered Suit arrived in the mail this past week.
The C Type suit is supposed to be the Utilitron constructobot load lifter type.
Hence the cool hydrauliclaws.
I love the big bubble canopy on this one.
He does come with a blaster rifle too, in case the Waruder breach the main defenses.
Because who doesn't love chicken walker mode?
Then there was that time, when all hope was surely lost, but Dale from Cargo Bay 6 single handedly drove the Waruder out of Moon Base, and saved the day.

So I came across this great new blog called "Crew of Spirited Boys" Microman Club, that is dedicated to the translation of old Takara SF Land catalogs, media, and other things. Takara SF Land being the term for all things Takara pre-Transformers. i.e. Henshin Cyborg, Microman, Diaclone, etc.
I found them because they started translating the new Diaclone reboot stuff, but they are working on going way back to the OG stuff.

But one thing they have hipped me to is this contemporary Japanese illustrator named Takeshi Nakamura who is doing these great retro paintings/illustrations that are just AWESOME.
