Well, your perception of one particular person with a supermodel body on a constant basis doesnt exactly show tons of support the less fortunate women you claim to be defending. Youre pretty much glorifying the same thing I am but in a digital form rather than plastic toys.

Interesting you should say that, as my initial thoughts about Master Piece Tracks were that Takara had given him a rather slender look and with the reveal of Road Rage - that all made sense.

If the female option had been expected by Hasbro, then some of the design choices for how the bodies are done will have been made in advance in preparation for it. It doesn't matter if the fans chose male either, too, because of it.

Using fictional characters such as wrestlers to determine the truth of a stereotype of behaviour (in fictional characters) does not come across as sound reasoning.

I'd like to hope, much like Diem and ctrlFrequency, that the new characters will be given non-conforming behaviour (as well as design, where possible), and as rich a backstory as Windblade's/the Camiens' is proving to be.

Its funny - Transformers has always managed to give a wide spectrum of personalities to their 'male' cast members - it always felt jarring, even as a child that all the female characters were virtual copy\paste scenarios that were all very stereotypical.

What my sexual preference is in terms of body type is a personal choice. It doesn't matter what I think about one single person. It matters if I superimpose that woman's body as a standard for all women. If I did, I would complain about things not being exactly the way I want them, would I? That's the beauty of this combiner, Strongarm, Strika and whatever non-stereotypical female character is in the TF series. They break the mold (figuratively).

Why must they be shaped like an adult film star? I'd like it if they weren't, even if I use the same avatar over and over, I stand by my point.

It would be weird to have 3 ladies & 3 lords in the same combiner. But as far as everyone knows, bots don't have reproductive organs. Or organs at all. They all come from a golden ball of light.

Here's hoping for an animated series around classics-generations-combiner wars. Or a mini-series.

I'd be inclined to agree that just having Victorion speaking slowly/growling a lot would be dull. I don't think that rules out the possibility of her being as violently insane as the other Combiners though. Perhaps her variety of "Combineritis" couod be more verbose or eloquent. Case in point, this awesome exchange from the Marvel UK comics.

An intelligent and coherent- but nonetheless insane- Combiner would be very interesting IMO. Alternatively she could perhaps be a bit like Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion- stoic in the extreme, showing zero signs of any form of emotion, and ignoring virtually all damage to herself.

Or alternatively we could all just buy her and give her whatever personality we want.

Actually, originally I had in my post that I wasn't going to dwell on your comment and was moving on , but I felt that would sound a little too condescending towards men and that there was no place for me to be sounding sexist towards men in this discussion (I didn't want to even hint at it). Gender equality works both ways.

Now to address the issue. A joke about stereotyping women is still a sexist is comment.

A joke on the Internet is hard to recognize. Since I don't know you, I can't guess at when you're joking.

Back on topic so Va'al doesn't have to warn us again. If Roberts and Scott are responsible for their personalities, we might see this all come to a great conclusion. Both of them can write a good strong character That focuses less on gender more on personality. I don't care for Windblade's personality , but that is because she lacks one, and I don't fault the writing, I think she lacks clear direction. At least Nautica has a personality, though Chromia... she coulduse some depth.

Even though I do have reservations, and am only intrigued minimally, I am glad to see more fembots coming into the TF world, as toys and as characters. I do agree that they shouldn't be repaints, but all-new molds.

Didn't Roberts Create Nautica from scratch just for the heck of it? If given enough creative license he could probably give us a great team of diverse and awesome bots.

I'm just glad they aren't motorcycles. Although, if they chose the Hotspot mold, a repaint of groove is unavoidably our sixth bot.

Would like the Six CW Fem Bots toys to be the most relevant ones. Currently appearing in the IDW TF comics. Windblade, Chromia, Nautica, Arcee, ? , ? .

Wondering which Fem Bot will be chosen as the leader and torso of the Combiner. Speculating it will be Windblade. Using a repurposed CW Silverbolt toy.

CW Chromia will probably use the Legends grove toy.

CW arcee might use a CW Stunticon toy.

Going to be weird seeing newer update toys for Arcee, Windblade and Chromia. As they got new toys last year.

Hoping the HasTak team will be able to turn one of the CW toys into a water vehicle for Nautica. Would be wrong if they gave Nautica a new land or air vehicle.

And I stand by my point. Practice what you preach about female diversity.

As far as the female combiner is concerned, it could be a hit or miss all depending on how Hasbro excutes it. I can help but believe that the vote was all a sham and they were going to give us this regardless of what the votes were. Im not understanding why they are using generic combiners to even out the 2-3 Decepticon vs. Autobot combiner ratio. I do not count ultra prime and galvatronus as real combiners. I see them as unessacery cow milk. Instead of wasting time with this repaint rubbish, they should be designing an Abominus to face off against their Computron. Honestly, I hope they keep it all new characters and dont butcher elita one, moonracer, firestar, etc. (Butcher...I made a funny ) These repaints as new characters are getting quite annoying in the CHUG line. At least hasbro had the decency to leave some distinctive molds alone before combiner wars. If a mold doesnt fit an existing past character, leave it alone. Stop repainting them in cheesy new color schemes as new characters. Dont turn the CHUG line into another unicron trilogy line where every mold got a silly repaint. Thats how we ended up with cannonball.

The more I think about the name "Victorion" the more it starts to get annoying. I keep thinking of old houses from the early 1800s. Yeah I know theres a one letter difference from "Victorian", but the history buff in me cant seem to associate any similar sounding word to futuristic robot warriors.

The CW Victorion name, wasn't taken from the house.

CW Victorion, was most likely taken from the royalty name of Queen Victoria.
