I recently changed my username on seibertron.com, but my commander name on HMW has stayed the same. This isn't a massive issue, but I was just wondering why it was and if there's any way to change your commander name in the game?

The name change function here hasn't caught up with the rest of the site yet, it may change after an undetermined length of time, but it's not likely. What's your old team name?

Gotta agree with Mkalls sentiment in your sig though, that's a really good choice.

Thanks, I have to admit I was pretty pleased with it. My old name that I still go under on HMW is The Cactus. My team is the Heavyweights.

well it still lists Red as Fearless Echoes, and he changed his name 2 years ago, and it still hasnt caught up. F'echoes, Rogue something, RoS, all have never changed despite commander changing their names

Team Names change alright, but User Names seem to not update

User names, and faction forum access, use to be linked between HMW and the forums. Numerous crashes have broken both those functions.

To further explain, HMW databases are seperate from Forum databases and need code to link them, some of that code is bjorked.

So what would happen if a new commander chose a mane that someone in the game already has but the commander doesnt have that name anymore?

like if someone new used RoS's name when they sign up, would there now be 2 RoS's?
