to the best of my knowledge, the insecticons never had any "little driver dudes" that went in the yellow compartments. Don't know what those are for

Anyone else have those white dot stickers on their boxes?

Mine has a round silver sticker, a little bigger than a quarter, with the backwards "R" in the center in relief and the word "exclusive" around it in black type.

But no "white dot" stickers.

I'm not sure I buy that "little driver dude" explanation either. There's no seat or anything that would hold a driver in place, and Hardshell's hatch only opens when he's in robot mode. Plus, they'd have to be really tiny figures to fit in there.

I wouldn't worry about it, mines didn't have any stickers and I went to another TRU and checked out the ones over there, no stickers.

I hope so. It would be a shame if they end up like another WW Prowl and WW Grimlock.

TRU distribution must suck, because mine was loaded with them for months. Probably 10 of each. I know that doesn't help you now, but it's odd.

Don't give up folks. I went through hell last week running between and calling TRU's. They kept saying they were in stock but weren't. I finally my hands on them.(Tampa Bay) Tips - speak with a manager and find out not only when their trucks arrive, but when they actually unload them. Most stores get 2 shipments a week. My area truck arrives in the day but they don't unload till night so I had to call first thing the next morning. Did this until they were on the shelf and then they held it for me at the service desk to come pick up. They will remember you if you call enough LOL. As soon as I walked in the girl behind the desk handed it to me without even asking what I needed! Sure she is glad I'm gone. There are 6 stores around me and 1500 peices in the warehouse to be delivered on multiple shipments so I imagine it is the same throught the country. Seems like the south and midwest are the last to see them, but they are still there. Stores will transfer within the same district but not out of state, so don't waste time with calling anyone you can't get to with a car ride. It's worth not paying the Ebay prices. Oh one more thing I found out in my search. If you call and give them the item number to check, make sure they look at the shelf. Not only may it not be there, but both Perceptor and the Insecticons are listed under the same number. Make sure they have the one you want, or both. They may say over the phone they have 4 in stock, but they may all be one or the other. Happy hunting!

Missed the Insecticons today by an hour. :-x

I'm trying to snag a set of these for my daughter for Christmas. I've never had this much trouble with a TRU exclusive before.

Why don't they just list the slaggin' things on their website, and order enough so they're in stock for more than a day?

theyre no longer up there. glad i snagged mine from TRU in my area. They had 2 of each but i only bought 1 of each because the other set was in bad condition :-x

Finally. Got my order in for Perceptor Friday afternoon. I gave up on my local TRU stores. One knew nothing about them, and the other said they have none on the floor nor in the back.

I hate ordering something online that is supposed to be available in stores. But I only found one, single Soundwave reissue hidden on a top shelf back when it was available in '07, and I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't find Perceptor at all. So I just decided to take the safe route and order from the website.

finally got my set in store yesterday after a month + of checking 2-3 TRU's bi weekly.

Word to the hunters, these boxes are smaller than you probably think. They are the square size of a carded deluxe figure, not nearly as big as a voyager box. I was about to leave the store and they caught my eye hiding on the corner of the knee level shelf. Couldn't believe how small the boxes were.

Got mine today. Perceptor and Insecticons. There are a couple more at TRU in Rochester MN if anyone is looking.

They also had the 2-pack with Hoist and Mixmaster. Didn't pick it up-I wish Hoist was available alone. I kind of wish I would have waited and gotten that version of Mixy rather than the RoTF version.

Found a like 5-6 of each at my local TRU in Ontario, California. Guess it was a restock cause they were all nice and neat like and had no look of little kid tampering, i.e. ripped cover cause the kid didnt think to open it on the right side of the box.

I picked up one of each just cause I knew I'd be mad at myself if I didn't.
