Communication in alt. Mode
Does anyone think that the Transformers have the ability to talk in thier car/jet/tank/etc. mode? The only evidence I've seen is Bumblebee talking thorugh the radio, which is a normal function any car has, and the Decepticons speaking Cybertronian, but that could have been over a com link and not out loud(Bonecrusher and Barricade were in populated areas where humans could easily hear them talk, which is strategically unsound). Ironhide could have easily exclaimed "It's Starscream!" without transforming into robot mode, but he didn't, so I'm saying thier incapable, unlike all other continuities.

Well, in G1, when the alts talked, their headlights flashed, so people could know who was talking. I think that if the movie bots talked in their alt modes, it would be cheezy and cheap. And why would Ironhide exclain "It's Starscream in alt mode, when screamer was about to fire.

They should have flashing lights inside like KITT when they talk. I don't think it makes sense that they can't communicate in their alt modes. How would you ever coordinate an attack without speaking or gesturing?

if they could actually talk in their vehicle form, then it would have been shown in the movie most likely, which is wasnt. soo i highly doubt we'll see it happening. it makes sense if they can communicate with eachother through com like stuff or something, since the decepticons have, but i dont think it would seem right if they could communicate outloud (to humans) from their vehicle form.

My Grandfather had a talking car. It was pretty cool when I was a kid. It would remind you to put on your seatbelt and tell you if the door was ajar. It's how I learned what 'ajar' means.
