you haven't seen frustration till you've collected SW stuff this year. Terrible distribution this year. Target hasn't put anything new out in a month and 1/2. Walmart has the 'new' figures right now, but most of the htf get swallowed up by scalpers and armybuilders, which leaves you with having to be there exactly when they stock. Hasbrotoyshop.com sucks too -you're lucky if the htf is up for 10 min. They take stuff out of your shopping cart even before you buy it too. I could go on for pages.

The blueshirt guy said there are 3000 more at the national warehouse, but he had no idea when theyd arrive. I just bit the bullet and bought one off of ebay, as the extra $10 the scalper is getting me for is far less than the gas and time I'd have to spend trolling best buys for the next 2 months to probably come out empty handed.

Hasbro and Best Buy, you two should get a room... because you BOTH SUCK!

if best buy having 3000 more in their warehouse is true then that means since there are about 1400 best buys stores in the u.s. that each store will get about 2-3 if they are to be distributed equally.... however, im sure that some stores will get more that others leaving other stores with none

For me Transformers and Star Wars are pretty much equal. I have found every figure and almost every variant at least once but I really spend a lot of time hunting.

Just out of curiosity.. For those of you who were lucky to find large amounts of figures at your local Best Buy store are you still seeing them on the shelves today?

If so, could someone please pick up a Megatron figure for me and send me a PM? I'm willing to pay $30 plus shipping via Paypal. I live in Seattle and most of our stores only received 4 figures TOTAL! There were alot of upset people at the Best Buy I was at yesterday morning.

Can anyone help a fello Siebertronian in need? :PRAY:

Anyone else tired of this nonsense?

It'd be nice if hasbro sold the exclusives as a second run at their own toyshop as well in addition to selling to one store exclusively.

Took an early lunch and went to bb to see a guy carry out the last rachet due to being stuck in traffic... I was so pissed.

Those bb exclusives look to be really rare if every shop around here had only around 4+ to sell and they won't be restocking...

For all those who actually found and bought some... lucky bastards.

I would say that eBay is your best bet at this point... it seems to be a little glutted with a bunch of people selling the metallics... you can probably get it for about $30-40 shipped off eBay right now.

thanks for the tip mineralblue... i think im going to wait it out and trust skywarp-2's message on a possible restock. i hate resorting to ebay to pick up figs for double, sometimes tripple the price.. that sucks!

wish our best buy had lage quantities like yours did... :cry:

Problem is, you'll spend at least ten bucks in gas, not to mention the value of your time and effort, trying to hunt him down.
As much as it pains me to say it, I'd just as soon pay the extra $10-$15 on ebay and get a metal maegs now than waste the same 10-15 in gas and frustration and time only to have a good chance at coming out empty-handed after two months of going to best buy 3 times per week.

I just got back from a BB in SLC that just received their shipment this morning. I picked-up one for my son and I, there were about 6-8 there.
If any of you are serious about wanting one I would be willing to drive back there and see if there are any left.

If it was a restock, and they are already restocking, I may have to go back by mine over the next few days to try for a ratchet... Though I'd be suprised if this was the norm nationwide. The majority of BB's were still out of them yesterday, and I don't see that changing in one day across the board.

honestly guys, think about the Best Buys in older aged areas and out in the middle of B.F.E. (Bumb F**k Egypt) way out in the country some wheres... they may have all of their shipments in stock because of lack of interest.. those Best Buy stores should be hit.. but as for waiting for restocks.. buy the eBay.. I'm not even 100 percent sure you'll get one in the restock, and I'd hate for my relayed message from a Manager in Best Buy to be your deciding factor.. this was simply a public service announcement for your benefit.. don't wait get them now!! And if you feel as if you over paid for them if they do restock.. then just remember you got them, and the convenience fee of not having to drive there was included...
