Starscream, Megs, Prime, and others gave up their ability to Transform so they could drive cars, tanks, motorcycles, jets, etc...; It was one of the stupidest and most poorly explained gimmicks of all time.

actualy there was more to it then that. the commercials said just as what was quoted, but the figs themselves came with another story.

energon dried up, and the tf were gonna die if they didnt find a new energy source, and prime found one, but to use it, they needed a new power convertner, and to build one they had to sac thier transformation engine.

so action masters had no choice but to be retarded g i joe wannabes.

KT Devastator comes with a tiny Hot Rod that can be held in MP Prime's hand as if he's saying: 'If I'd known you'd be taking my place I would've agreed to the surgery.'

Wasnt the story/bull **** they came up with that the tfs had found a way of increasing their power conciderably, but it cause them to lose the ability to transform?

Well Actionmaster Prime was the only version of G1 Prime that came close in scale to Motormaster and Onslaught. That got him points in my book. Plus that jet was cool.

Personally, I love Mega SCF Rodimus because even though he desn't transform, he looks cool with G1 Prowl, Hound and the others in their robot modes. Not like the Classics and G1 Hot Rods who despite transforming look too large in robot modes compared with Prowl and co.

All cars should be Basics!!!

"Till all are one" should refer to scale and continuity!
