Postby omega wing » Thu Apr 26, 2007 12:59 pm

Whilst reading throught the sun today i came across a scam that had been running in japan that recently got foiled it involved a company selling women mini poodles for about £630 when infact they where selling them shaved lambs it is a crazy scam i cannot believe that they actually pulled it off the interesting part is they have an interview with an actress who boght one of the sheep/ poodles she was worried why her sheep/poodle wasnt eating dog food and she couldnt cut its claws here is a link to the article have a read

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007190295,00.html

It stirkes me as odd that people who fell for it didnt notice right away because when they sheep/poodle baaed why didnt they noticed it not being a bark. Its a crazy scam that worked huh

Fixed. Not this one at least, though he is feeling a bit inflammatory today. I'd say culturally they're academically inclined, much to do with a society based on pride and formality, which has many problems in itself, but on an individual level are no smarter than anybody else, and, as this case makes me think, even more naive.

This incident just boggles the mind for me, though I could see someone like Paris Hilton (*shiver*) buying one of those 'poodles.'

But they do obviously know what dogs are... and hooves vs. paws, teeth, lack of a tail?

I'm not surprised by this at all. Movie stars, no matter the culture, seem to have an IQ comparable to something scrapped off the bottom of a fridge.

I'm not surprised really, I try not to take the word of the news as law, they are always bending the truth to make it more interesting, as that article rightly states, most people know what a dog looks like, or should look like, so even if they had never seen a sheep (or a lamb in this case), they should know somethings up
