So, i was playing Deathmatch in Transformers: War For Cybertron. The host of the game i played was one of the newer players, with a base level in his classes about the 7-9. But it ain`t him who i am talking about.

See, in the game, i met another player, who i did beat the most times. We actually played a LOT of games, i think it was 10-20 games we played through. I ranked up from #40 to #38 on the leaderboards. My base score was also 20/0. Nonetheless, this player was one of the regular hyped kids, with a mic, wich they only used to yell "OH NOEZ!!!1!!11!, OR "WAT DE HELLLL!1!!11!!!. He suddenly got the chance to kill me once, and when that was done, hell became reality. He began to call me things like "loser" or "noob", and certain other things that cannot be written here. So, after beating him up a little after that, i asked him how old he was.

Seriously. Seven? I guess some of you guys out there have sons older than that, who aren`t allowed to play PS3. Myself i have a little brother who is eight years old, and he still sticks to things like Wii ad PS2. But SEVEN YEARS! What is his parents THINKING!

I personally would love to speak to this kids parents. I mean, a game made for adult children(10-12) and teenagers shouldn`t have 7 year old kids fooling around.

The worst part was that after having beate him up through several matches, he stated that "he was the leader of ROTF Deathmatch". I am honest in saying that i have absolutely NO knowledge about ROTF`s Multiplayer options, as i do not own the game, but it`s sad and pathetic to hear a kid say things like that, just to gain respect from elder players.

SO, I wanted to ask you guys what YOU think about the incident. Have you experienced anything like it?

I also find out a lot a little kids playing HMW. They bragging but most of them don't know how to play like a team most of the them i use them as shields there is no other use for them

They aren`t 7, are they? I could imagine me they are 9 or somthing, but not 7!

Don't put your microphone on when you're not playing with your friends. If it's coming out of your TV turn your volume off. You're getting psyched out of playing a game because a 7 year old kid? Who cares about him.

Now let's talk about critical lows. Like how no one's playing the game anymore. Yeesh. It's fun but damn, no one plays it anymore.

You think 7 is a low age? Damn, what kind of world am I in!? I was watching R rated movies at the age of 3! My parents where actually the ones who forced me to do it! Well, when I turned 12. I've been playing M rated games since I was 7. Mostly because my parents probobly didnt know what it was.

I have to admit, even in esc. the remaining populations isn't getting any better. I don't know how old the players I have been playing with are, but they sure don't act very mature. I find most of them pretty comical though. I usually turn my mic off and laugh as they get shunned and consequently die

I hear ya (not like I'm helping the problem though lol). For me, it just seems like HMS has kind of dumped the game. They don't even update the lobby messages any more. Kinda sad, especially since they said they would have lots of extra content and dlc etc etc. Hopefully around the holidays they will look our way again.

I've seen this comment bandied around quite a bit and honestly, I don't get where you lot are getting this impression from. The numbers are low, but hardly incapable for finding a game or two to play in. There always 300-700 people, bare minimum logged-in dependent on the time of day/night. Do you need 300+ people to play this game reliably online? No? Try maybe 10-20. Even accounting for a few poor hosts this still isn't difficult to do.

You want to complain about online presence? Try a niche game like The Eye of Judgment; guaranteed you were always waiting tens of minutes for a single challenger.

Yeah the population is low, especially compared to games like Halo and CoD, but it's hardly a problem.

I tend to be on between 1 and 5 in the morning and theirs always at least 300 players.

Of course I haven't played anything but Team Deathmatch and Conquest, cause the others are constantly between 0 and 10 players, but I don't mind that much.

As for the ages of players, WFC does seem to have a predominantly younger crowd(no surprise there though) I've haven't found it so bad, their annoying at times yes... but damn some of them are wicked good. This one kid I was playing last night, said he was 10 years old, was always the MVP, always had over 15 kills, and was a quite good team player... his biggest flaw was that he complained about single little thing that happened. If he got sniped, he threw a fit, if you stole his kill, he threw a fit, ect...

But what I really want to know is, where are this kids parents? It's 3 in the morning on a school night!!!

Well, 300 players is OK, though, none of them play Deathmatch. I live in Denmark, where the time zone is about 6-8 hours past US time, so when i get home from school, most people go to school. When i go to bed, they come home from school. When i wake up, they go to bed. You know what i mean.

So the only times i actually can get a good playing experience is when i stay up late in the night. Like, 10 PM and further. In the weekend it`s OK, though.

So that might be what`s wrong with the kid; TIME ZONES, MY FRIEND.

There was some kid who was braging about his level 5 soldier, and why i don't know. I told him i was in prime mode, but he didn't belive me. I was playing with a couple of my friends, and they could have warned hi, but they didn't. I killed him 7 times in a row, and he started going insane. It sounded like a rabid chipmunk was having a sugar rush. He was crying into his mic, and it was just embarrasing. Everyone stopped fighting, and just lisented. Then we heard his mom telling this FOUR YEAR OLD KID that he wasn't allowed to play his big brother's game. Wow.

It was kind of the same with him i played against. I killed him at least 10 times each match, as he kept on sneaking up on me. Though, he didn`t know how to play Scouts right. And so, hell began.

You should have heard him when he finally beat me. He screamed like an insane. "YEEEEZZZZ!!! I FINALLEH BEAT YEUUU!!!!! YOU LLOSER! LOSER! LOSER!


Then i got pissed. I began to play aggressively. Now it was me who searched for him. And GOSH it made him mad. "Why U ONLY GOING FOR MEEE!!!" He yelled, and then he began with his "I KILLED YOU!!!". One time, boy. You killed me once, and i killed you at least a hundred times.



But i do actually enjoy playing wth these youngsters. Their screams of madness when i kill them for the 6th time in the same match are like angel sound for me. Plus you get heck lot of points.

HA! Thats what I do! I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets pissed for getting killed in one shot!

Got to admit, i sometimes do the same. Especially when i get killed by 1 Magma Frag. Seriously, that weapon is UNFAIR AS HELL!

(btw i just made that up. pretty good insult huh?)lol but seriously, i've pwned a 30 year old that told me im too small my fingers cant reach the controller. as you can imagine... he was wrong

Yeah, kind of agree with Blurrz. Haven't played this game for long and not even visited this thread often now. Don't get me wrong, this is a good game. When I play it, I still have fun time. But somehow, the second DLC killed my interest because I don't want to spend 10 bucks for almost nothing. And later got bombed out because I don't have the new map.

Did you set your zone to worldwide? Then you might be playing with kids from other country. When I was young, I did sneak out at night to play couple hours game so my parents won't notice. But not at age 7 or 9. The red white Nintendo Famicom wasn't even exist at that time.

There's people like that in every game...and I love it. Oh, I love it so. I love how they complain when I dominate them, I love how they act as if getting one kill on me makes them superior, and then I love rubbing their faces in the dirt.

Team Fortress 2. I got domination on a kid (Four kills in a row) and just kept on killing. Eventually, instead of finding a new tactics to get revenge (Killing the guy who dominated you) he instead left and rejoined the server, removing the domination, and attempted to taunt that he had somehow bested me by resetting his score.

Actually, yes, age does matter. Mental maturity directly relates to skill. All of the split-second timing in the world won't help you if you can't estimate your targets and yourself accordingly. And using words like "pwned" without being facetious doesn't really scream "Subscription to the New Yorker" to me.

And what are you asking him to accept? He challenged you.
