Do you guys think Custom Movie Figures are going down in popularity? I just sold 3 of my figures (08 BB, Jazz, and Brawl) on eBay and they didnt go for quite as high as I had expected. Now Im not saying im dissatisfied with how the auctiosn turned out, just saying different from my expectations.
My 08 BB went for 76, Jazz for 56, and Brawl for 44.
So what do you guys think? BTW, you can see what my customs look like by clicking on the banner in my profile.

I think if you notice on Ebay, not just the custom figures, but all of the movie figures are slightly going down a bit. I remember weeks ago 08 BB was selling for around 30 bucks or so, but if you check now the majority of them are selling for around 16 to 18 dollars.

Customs figures are hit and miss at the best of time, and greatly depend on each individual potential buyer.
I think the fact that there have been a great deal of Movie figure customs made, has shrunk the market; fewer people wanting/needing customs equals lower prices.

Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

Agreed the super saturation of custom movie figures on ebay is taking away from the appeal. Not to mention quality from custom to custom varies greatly. Personally, I've only ever bought two custom figures, both Alts, one I enjoy, one I regret.

Right now. Custom's aren't a good idea, seeing as some people(okay.. alot of people), have yet to even get a basic '08 Bumblebee, or Leader Brawl, so buying a custom really wouldn't help people like that.
Plus, there are still quite a few collectors out there who can do their own paint jobs.
