Autobase Prime - Command Center

"He's all yours, Grimlock," Optimus Prime told the Dynobot leader as Cliffjumper made his eloquent proposal to be included with the Uraya force. "Leave some Decepticons for the Dynobots to fight, Cliffjumper."

The supreme commander noticed that Landfill wished to go on the mission as well. He had other ideas for the materials transport specialist, however.

"Remain in Iacon, Landfill. There's a mission that will require your skills soon enough."

That matter resolved, Prime listened to Ultra Magnus' report.

"We'll get them back," Prime told Magnus, optics hardening. "Or avenge their sacrifice."

As Magnus finished his report, the resident diversionary tactician walked up to prime and spoke. Listening to Smokescreen's sotto voce warnings, Optimus Prime nodded and answered quietly.

"Your plan doesn't go unheard," he told the diversionary tactician. "And parts of it will be integrated into our overall strategy. But for now, we don't have the mechpower to carry out that kind of multi-pronged strike. Go with Grimlock and do all you can to make his force look bigger and badder than it already is."

He knew Smokescreen was up for the task. It was what he did, after all. Formulating plans for major offensives seemed a little out of the ordinary for Smokescreen, but initiative was usually a good thing. And divergent thinking can yield unexpected gifts. Prime looked back to Magnus and Fortress Maximus.

"Before you go back to Nova Cronum," he told Maximus, "the three of us are going to review the data downloads from Grimlock's mission and the black box from his team's shuttle. If the Insecticons fled, I'm sure Megatron already knows what we know about the planetary survey mission."

Before he could go, Prime was met by Road Rage. He recognized the red femme, though he knew little about her personally.

"Monitor base defenses. I'm temporarily assigning you to the Command Center staff. An extra set of optics on the scanners never hurts, especially at a time like this."

With the two Autobot generals presumably in tow, Prime stepped through a side door into his Ready Room.

Nodding, Mirage watched as Ratchet worked. "That would be most helpful to me," he answered the surgeon's offer to repair Roadbuster enough to speak with the spy.

"He ran afoul of Roadblock. There's no question the Decepticon ground forces commander has always been a nasty brute of impressive proportions, but he's been somehow modified to make him more powerful," he told Ratchet. "The old Roadblock would not have had such an easy time with Roadbuster."

Autobase Prime - Command Center

Swoop was a bit put out when that Librarian posing as a Prime answered before Grimlock could. Him think he know everything 'cause he read about it in the archives, the smallest Dinobot seethed. Personally, he took it as sign from Primus that the Priesthood had lost the Maker's favor when this archivist was made the Prime instead of Grimlock. With judgement like that, it was no surprise to Swoop that most of them were dead.

To make matters worse, here was Studious Prime, being all chummy with that son of a glitch Smokescreen. Swoop was hurt at that sight. Way back when, Smokescreen had been one of them. It remained to be seen if he still was.

He was considerably happier to see an old, red mech walk into the room. "Ironhide! he exclaimed, punching the security officer in the shoulder. "You really think you gotta ask? You with us, buddy!"

The enthusiastic bombardier shot Cliffjumper a grin. "You too, Cliffjumper. Me Swoop lookin' forward to slaggin' some 'Cons with you guys!"

With a last nod towards Grimlock, Swoop headed for the door. "C'mon guys. Me gotta go wake up Sludge, and get his lazy aft on the shuttle. You guys can help Me Swoop get it loaded. That give us time to catch up."

Autobase Prime- Command Center

"With due respect sir, that role is not my strong suit." She said to Optimus Prime with a tone of sincerity, but kept the tone to something quiet and hard to overhear, professional, and appropriate.
"I am best suited to the roles of bodyguard, or advisor. I do not feel that I am well suited for monitoring base defenses." She continued in the private tone.
Her tech skill was meager. Just enough to do her own functions, and use the day to day technology. Command Center consoles were not among her day to day technology. Quite average, really.

Road Rage wasn't very comfortable standing up to Prime even keeping it as between them and only them as she could, but she learned from her short time in the medical bay she shouldn't do things far outside of her functions. She tended to get in over her head if she wasn't careful.

Landfill nodded with acceptance. He did not want to impose on anyone by asking for such assignments, however even he was getting a tad ancy hanging behind the frontlines while he could be doing something to help his friends. The transport looked over as the Dinobots began to gather their numbers and depart from the Command Center towards their departing shuttle. They each looked as if they could take on entire squadrons each by themselves, a welcome yet wearily fresh vision to be sure. But even he had his doubts that they would be able to do what was planned with out more help. Still Landfill accepted the denial of his subtle expression. "Understood Optimus Sir. I will be ready for anything that you have in mind."

Hotspot on the other hand was still in a shallow ponderance. His team had been stuck in Iacon for Orns. If he knew his team as well as he thought he did, they were all feeling the frustration as well... well maybe not Groove but he was a bit off anyways. Still it was beginning to bug him, sure he was keeping busy repairing mechs or helping other units with their chores but even that went only so far.

Originally Hotspot had considered using some sort of excuse to leave Iacon's Autobase Prime and head to the borders for a more direct encounter of the first kind. As much as he would have enjoyed that sort of challenge he would not place his non combatant teammates into such danger for such personal pleasures. Thus he rerouted his thoughts more productive means of getting into the action. While Uraya sounded fun, he doubted it was the situation best suited for the Protectobots. Too far out of the way and in need of too much covertness...

"Glad to see you made it back in one piece Ultra Magnus." The Protectobot Commander greeted the battered city commander formerly of Tau. And boy did he have a story to tell. New flying units now bolstering the Decepticon Air Force, if Blades heard it he would be drooling... But what caught Hotspot's interest was the deal regarding Road Block and his new technology. "Wait a minute what sort of technology?"

And now he had the resources he needed. Grimlock would have smirked if he even remotely had the facial features to be able to do so. It was almost too easy to come back and get his way. The war must be going badly or Prime was just eager to placate him and get him out of the way for awhile. It was probably a combination of both he suspected. It didn’t really matter though. He had his team, his base and everything he needed to restart his own war against the Decepticons.

Having Cliffjumper hoisted on him wasn’t exactly ideal. Grimlock disliked the minibots for the most part. They all seemed to exemplify the worst traits of the Autobots. Almost all of them were small and weak. At least this one was eager to fight, and he could prove useful in scouting and spying and getting into those tiny places the rest of them couldn’t.

The Dinobot commander turned his gaze to Blaster. The communications expert could be handy, especially with his numerous small partners. This was assuming he didn’t drive them all crazy with whatever music he decided to play, be it from Cybertron or some stray signals he picked up from some other world. Hopefully it would only take one knock on his head to get him to stop playing music at inopportune times. Blaster hadn’t been on the list he gave Prime and with his higher rank and importance he wasn’t going to pull him away from Iacon without permission. He had everything he wanted right now, he didn’t want to push his luck.

“If you get permission from Prime then you can come to Uraya with us Blaster. Might need help setting up base and me guarantee we hit Tagan Heights before long.”

Grimlock gave Swoop a nod as he moved off with the other members of the LSC. Swoop was good at following his orders before he even issued them. It was good that at least one Dinobot was a bit more capable of taking the initiative and doing something constructive with it. As the others left he stepped over to a communication console. One of the members he wanted for his team was a bit further off than his personal communications would carry. He punched in the message to Nova Cronum and sent it off. As he made his way out of the command center, he sent another message.

>>”Inferno, this Grimlock. Me back and me want to tear into some Decepticons. Putting the LSC back together. If you interested meet us as shuttle Dauntless in main hangar.”<<

"Well, hope everyone is happy." Jazz spoke to himself as he hopped up on a nearby control panel to sit for a while. "Alright Prime's going to one of his private meetings. Anyone have any more issues they can come to me and I'll keep the message or whatever." Jazz had to keep on his toes and take some of the pressure off Prime when he needed to do these kind of meetings. It seems that everyone liked to pile on all at once, and now that Prime would be unavailable it probably would settle down anyway.

"And if not, get on with your business. This is a Command Center, not a dance floor after all." Jazz smiled, "Though... that doesn't sound like a bad idea."

Autobase Prime - Main Med Bay

First Aid had just finished the last touches on Sideways and Sunstreaker before setting them up into the CR chamber. It was time for him to rest a bit before looking over the others, unless there was an emergency.

Three seconds later he got back up. That was all a medic could really afford to rest really, "Ratchet need a hand with anything?"

Motto: "Feed them to the Sharkticons!"
Autobase Prime - Command Center

Given the sheer number of mechs voicing their opinions, intentions, and remarks that could not be easily fitted into any specific category of significance, Fortress Maximus had opted to remain silent. He was already quite difficult enough to miss without drawing further attention to himself by airing his views on matters that would not benefit from his input in any particular way. At least, not at this time. But he watched and recorded all that transpired for later analysis.

Despite Grimlock's display of personal initiative, there was still a need for careful, considerate weighing of the tactical and logistical variables which would, in the end, govern the nature and effectiveness of the Autobot counter-offensive. These were calculations that would only become clear over time, but Fortress Maximus was a patient mechanoid.

The re-appearance of Ultra Magnus was a relief to the High Commander, as he was sure it was to most of the personnel of Autobase Prime. Though he might not himself realize it, Magnus was a great asset to the Autobot cause, and his loss would have been a great blow. Perhaps nearly as great as the loss of Prime, himself.

When the Autobot Supreme Commander dismissed Grimlock to more or less do as he would in Uraya, Fortress Maximus began making his own plans to return to Nova Cronum. These plans were deferred, however, by Prime's summons to review the data retrieved by the Dynobots on their prolonged survey mission.

"Very well," he assented readily, falling into step behind the other two mechanoids as they proceeded to Prime's ready-room. "I must say, I am intrigued. We so rarely receive any detailed data from offworld. This is a rare scientific opportunity."

And, perhaps, a rare military opportunity, as well.

Autobase Prime - Command Centre

Ducking past Swoops wing as they passed in the doorway, Perceptor made it through the command centre, excusing himself to Rollbar, Jazz and Blaster as he wound through the masses as the meeting broke up. Finally, he made it out to the other side, and entered his laboratory.

Autobase Prime - Research and Engineering

Well, that was awkward. Still, it appears command are actively finding solutions to our war problems. Better do my part as well.
Perceptor powered up his lab equipment once more, and activated the Ion Conversion Fabricator in the next room, while punching up the formula for the Titanium armor formula. It was imperative to get the supply of needed parts together as soon as possible: Prime would need his army back in one piece again, and soon.

"There was one thought that came to my mind while we were in that mess of a command center. If something suddenly went wrong and that entire room got caved in with everyone in it buried, who would lead the Autobots? I think I saw almost every single command mech we have. So, what kind of fun times do we have in front of us today?

Autobase Prime - Leaving Command Center

"Great!" Ironhide exclaimed in reply to Swoops enthusiasm.

'I forgot just how infectious this guys enthusiasm was.' He thought. 'Glad to see he still has it though.'

"So Swoop what's with the new body?" Ironhide asked.

Autobase Prime ~ Command Center

His fist clenched tightly, only for a moment, before releasing again as he nodded in affirmation of Prime's comments. Revenge wasn't exactly top on the list of Autobot reasons for initiating conflict, but that didn't mean it wasn't used as motivation from time to time, and the recent events of the battle for Tau would most certainly provide added incentive for Ultra Magnus in the upcoming retaliations, whatever they may be "Lead on Optimus.." Magnus replied as he began follwing the Matrix Carrier to the private room.

As he took his first step, the City Commander stopped as he heard the voice of the Protectobot Commander address him "Thanks Hot Spot, it's good to be back. As for Roadblock and his new technology, I'm afraid that'll have to wait until after my meeting with Optimus is concluded, don't worry, I will tell you everything I know when I get the chance" Magnus finished, before turning back and following Fortress Maximus through the door into Prime's Ready Room.

"No slag Rollbar.." Trailbreaker replied, unconsciously scanning over the various security monitors as he did so, more out of habit than anything else "..I mean, if you don't tell everyone about it, you truly are doing a dis-service to yourself. If you want, I'll be happy to help you put it down in words, it's not like I've got much else to do for the time being. Looks like Optimus and Co are off to have a little cosy chat about that weird little planet Grimlock just came back from, he himself is off on a trip to Uraya to 'Smash some 'Cons' or whatever, and most everyone else is doing something, even if I was told what to do, it would probably be monitor the base anyway, so what do you say? You want you base profile to read 'Rollbar: Throttlebot Tracker: Previously in charge of Autobase Prime'?"

----------------------------------
Autobase Prime ~ Corridors

Inferno had intended to make his way up to the base Command Center after he had left the Medbay, but had got himself sidetracked when he offered to help some of the supply 'Bots out with the transfer of Medical supplies from the supply bay to the Medbay. As he was unloading his 3rd load, the Dinobot Commander's offer came crackling through the S&R 'Bot's commlink.

>>Grimlock! You old Slagkicker, I didn't know you were back! You know I'm always up for some action, I'll be there asap, who else did you manage to get from the old LSC?<<

---------------------------------------
Autobase Prime ~ Medbay

"Slaggit, like that walking piece of waste needed to be made more powerful.." Ratchet replied to Mirage as he reached his target of repair of Stormfire and prepared to move on to Roadbuster. As he was wiping the fluid off his hands, First Aid arrived on the scene and caught the CMO's attention "Now that you mention First Aid, could you take a look at Stormfire here and finish of the last few repairs he needs before giving him a stint in CR? I need to get to work on Roadbuster over there, as our friendly neighbourhood spy Mirage here needs a word with the big lug quite quickly, and it'd be very useful if you could take Stormfire off my hands, many thanks"

Content that Stormfire was in good hands, Ratchet motioned for Mirage to follow him over to the side of the Wrecker's table, before wasting no time in getting to work on Roadbuster's injuries. The preperation work had been excellent, with the internal fluid levels as high as a fully functional 'Bot, and the wounds all clear of useless armor, Ratchet's job was made considerably easier "Give me a sec, I just need to do a few bits and pieces here and.." The CMO paused as he grimaced and twisted on the hydro spanner set deep inside the Wrecker "..There"

After working solid for several kliks without so much as a word said, Ratchet finally stopped as he looked up to Mirage "OK, I'm just about to get him back online, but there's no telling what kind of mood he'll be in, so be prepared" Looking back down, the CMO made one more re-connection, before looking to the head of Roadbuster. There was a momentary flash of the Wrecker's optics, which was accompanied by some internal whirrings, which preceeded a long, low groan from Roadbuster's vocaliser "He's all yours" Ratchet said to Mirage as the groan died down, before focusing back on the remaining work that required his attention.

Command Centre

"Yeah that would be a great help," said Rollbar to Trailbreaker in an increasingly crowded command centre as Perceptor squeezed by, "It would be something to rub Freeway's nose in," he grinned happily at that thought, "Thanks for the help. If you're in need of a favour feel free to ask!"

Now he remembered why he didn't like medics.

They made him take things carefully, a term which was only a mere afterthought in Panzer's mind.

He slouched over to the CR Chamber and had it start the cleansing procedure. He closed his optics and recollected himself.

This war was finally wearing on him. He wasn't as old as Kup or Ironhide, but he'd seen enough to make any sane bot go completetly wacky. Fortunately he never had to worry about the loss of his sanity, he was never sure if he had any to begin with.

The CR Chamber completed it's cycle, the liquid draining from it slowly to be recycled and reused on some other beat-up comrade of his.

He slowly walked out of the Med Bay and made his way into the Armory, browsing the wares. It was then that he noticed that all the weapons were not even close to what he usually armed himself with. Small handblasters, mediocre rifles, not even a good rocket launcher was handy. He sighed and grabbed a pulse rifle and two hand blasters and walked out, but not without getting himself a new Energo axe.

He walked briskly around the corridors of the Base, heading for the research department to see if he could get some new toys.

"I may not be a Dynobot but I'm gonna make ye see that I should have been built into one!" Cliffjumper stated to Optimus Prime, clearly being dead serious about the issue.

With Swoop welcoming him aboard Grimlock's fighting force, Cliffjumper began to get even more excited. "That's right Swoop! We're gonna make those thrice cursed Deceptigoons pay!"

"Let them bring Clench's extermination squad, Roadblock and his goons or a full legion of seekers or even Devastator, we're gonna stuff them all into Megatron's tailpipe before blowing him up!" The small Autobot boasted with a crazy gleam in his blue optics. Completely forgetting that his bloodlust was not usually looked very favoredly upon by the like of Prime, Fortress Maximus or Ultra Magnus.

Autobase Prime Command Center

Scoop

As Scoop watched the three leaders go into the ready room he turned back to his panel and began to think. He was wondering how his fellow autobots were doing out there on the front lines, and that he would most likely be joining them soon.

As he went through sensor reports he decided to ask Jazz a question. "Sir, with the decepticons forces acting like they are could they be leaving a flank or so open near one of their territories that we can exploit? I know that Grimlock and his team are doing their thing but could there be a way to stretch the con lines even further?" As he awaited the answer from Jazz he continued to route through more sensor readings.

Repugnus

After he burst in and it was clear that the commanders didn't hear him Repugnus just leaned against the back wall taking in everything that was going on. He then noticed Cliffjumper. It seemed that the little runt was very excited about being assigned to Grimlock's crew. He just gave a smirk and then said to Cliffjumper "Runt if you keep on boasting like that then they will think you are crazier then me." He then walked up to and patted the smaller bots head like he was a new born protoform just learning how to fire a weapon.

Autobase Prime---Hallways

Waiting was fine but this was getting annoying. Streetwise would expect this from the likes of Groove, but Blades not responding yet. Now that was crazy. He began to wonder where the other Protectobots were. He then radioed Hotspot "Sir no sign of either Groove or Blades. Request permission to meet up with you?"

Autobase Prime - Research and Engineering

As Titanium, Molybdenum, Silicon and Red and Yellow dyes flowed into the intermix chambers and onto the molding units, Perceptor turned back to Swerve.

"I fail to see how such an occurence could take place: The support structure of the base is in nigh-on perfect condition, so it would never realistically collapse naturally, and the Decepticons have no weapon capable of penetrating all of our defenses in one blow, otherwise they would have utilised it." Perceptor began to pick up parts as he talked, almost scooping his new prototype Cosmotron before realising his mistake.

"As a thought experiment, however, it does make for interesting and worrying thought. I would imagine that overall Autobot command would fall to Prowl in Nova Cronum, but the more worrisome effect would be the significant number of powerful combat units we would be lacking, with a noticable affect on tactical manouvers as well as strategic command. Also, the Creation Matrix could theoretically be damaged or destroyed. No, that sort of scenario really doesn't bear thinking about for too long..."

Perceptor loaded the armful of parts onto a trolley. "I should be able to spare that lot. Won't you watch the alloy molding and heat treatment Swerve, you are more qualified than I for it. I'll check if there isn't anything else lying around in the back labs that we can spare."

"I'm not sure about that Scoop." Jazz answered after thinking on the question a bit. "I thought we have them just a while ago with Omega Supreme, but they had something up their sleeves, and on the moonbase the seemed well prepared. Every time we think those Decepticons have some weak point, they come up with some new trick."

"But..." Jazz hopped down from the panel, "...There's more then one way to strip a wire. Say if we went after Tyrest... The Decepticons cell there would handle it. But if we went after the supply line to Tyrest the Decepticons would have to send more guys to protect the supply line outside the city itself."

Jazz then just shrugged and smiled, "It's one way to get them off balance at least. Might work better then my old idea to spike our energon supply, so when it's stolen and used... they get all drunk and can't stand straight."

Autobase Prime: Main Med bay

First Aid took a look at the datapad that detailed Stormfire's condition. "Nothing too horribly bad... I seen worse at any rate." He reached over for the tool tray and picked up a spot welder. "Just some adjustments and you'll be all ready for the CR chamber."

"I guess you are right Perceptor. The only way for the Cons to hit all of our top mechs is catch them out in the open which I highly doubt would ever happen."

Swerve walked over to where Perceptor indicated and watched the mixture forming.

"It looks like the process is going well. I still like to find a new ore or metal to experiment on. If anything, we need to find more supplies of what we have because from what I saw in the medbay, we are going to run out and soon if the Cons keep up the pounding on us. Maybe Wheeljack can help us come up with some new alloy with metals that we have plenty of that will be just as good if not better."

Autobase Prime - Entering Hangar Bay

As they walked towards the shuttle bay, Swoop cocked his read in amusement at Ironhide's inquiry.

In response, he transformed into his beast mode for a few seconds. "They pretty prime, huh?" the Dinobot asked with a chuckle. "We and Insecticons both crash after fight in orbit. Both ships reformat us to effect repairs. Our forms came from some sorta organic war machines. The 'Cons got rebuilt inta...heh...well, they like organic scraplets. Hahaha! It suits them!" he concluded, pausing for a second as he nearly doubled over in laughter.

When he could function again, the pterodactyl picked up the pace. "Me not need to tell you, we kicked their puny afts real good." The bombardier clenced his fists. "They got away when we crash on Moon Alpha. Rrr! Me Swoop still mad about it. The cowards just flew away! They not even call us names or shoot back!"

The pilot returned to his good humor soon enough. "But it not matter," he said with a smile. "They can run all they want. We gonna slag 'em anyway!" They passed through the Hangar doors, entering the massive bay. "We here. If you guys wanna get started loading the gear, Me be right back with Dinobots."

Swoop transformed, jetting off down the hallway. Throughout the corridors of Autobase Prime, his exuberant voice could be heard.

"Slag! Snarl! We leaving! Wake that big dumb forklift up! Time to go!"

Sure, he could have used the Comm system. But yelling was more fun.

Panzer walked into the room, noticing Perceptor and Swerve as they watched some funny lookin' swirly ma-jig that he thought was worth checking out. He walked up behind them and watched the strange mixture.

"Wierd lookin' ain't it?" blurted Panzer loudly.

He always seemed to get people's attention, he made sure of that. Being ignored was something he found very hard to manage.

"Wheeljack isn't a metallurgist Swerve, he's an engineer. I'm afraid he's not qualified for alloy design. He might however be able to help improve our production of existing alloys, or help us locate new supplies. That would be something to ask him about actually, he could be of great help to us."

Perceptor was too busy scanning the shelves for stem-bolts (And considering what use those Axion Flux Managers might be used for in his next project) that he didn't notice Panzer arriving until the warrior bot spoke up. "Erm, hello, erm....Panzer, yes. Ehm....are you looking for something?"

Weapon: Automatic Acid-Pellet Gun
WheelJack's Workshop

"A few soders here, a microchip there..." Sparks flew from the work bench as the soder gun connected two ends of microfillament to the base of the motherboard. A long arm reached out from behind the magnifying scanner and began to rummage through several boxes of microchips in order to find the proper power limiter that the design called for. After a few grabs, and the inevitable rejection over the shoulder of those which were unwanted, the proper chip was found and inserted into place.

"There almost finished," the fins on the side of the robot engineer's head component flashed as he spoke quietly to himself. Another hand shot out from the scanner and reached for an already completed component to the device. Bringing it in the engineer began to fiddle and fumble with a few pieces, ever careful to allign each connection properly. Soon he was satisfied that each piece was connected correctly. The power systems and emitters were alligned exactly and the calibrations were dead on.

With a silent click as the metal casing close shut and the eventual whir of the motorized screwdriver completed the sealing, the device became complete. Wheeljack held up the small spherical container with a transceiver dish on its bottom and a camera towards its front. closer to the light of his workbench. Two solar folding panels one to either side of the camera gave the little device a unique look and the small transceiver dish gave the device its functionality and propose. The repulser engine on the opposite side of the camera/scanner powered by cosmic radiation offered a bit of mobility, and its small size made it difficult to see on any scanner system. At least that was to be the hope. Giving it a couple of good once overs he set the device back down onto his table and let out a stretch before returning to his work.

"There, all done. After all this time its finally done." Wheeljack held the small device in the palm of his hand as he finished his own scans. Once he was satisfied he flipped the switch on the repulsers, shined the light on the small collectors, and watched the satellite begin to levitate off his right palm.

Autobase Prime - Command Centre

Blaster grinned at Grimlock's response. He swivelled around in his chair so he could see Optimus Prime. "How about it Prime? My function here isn't all that groovy right now. With the Decepticons still regrouping themselves after the Tagan Heights fight, Iacon's in little danger. There isn't much I can do here anyways. Besides, I got a new fight mix I've been aching to try on the Decepticons, anyone wanna hear?"

Motto: "One shall stand, one shall fall."
Weapon: Static Laser Gun
Autobase Prime -> Main Med Bay

From a lone CR chamber in the corner came a rapping accompanied by muffled, urgent shouts.

Within, Windcharger starts to panic. With all his repairs finished and ready to join his comrades, the door to the CR chamber seems to be jammed shut. With his magnetic repulsor offline, he lacks the strength to break free. This thought launches him into furious assault on the unyielding door...

Motto: "Anything worth fighting for, is worth fighting dirty for."
Weapon: Rapid-Fire, Electrostatic Pulse Rifle
Autobase Prime - Medical Bay

You-don’t-want-your-armor-to-come-out-looking-like-it-was-hacked-to-pieces-and-then-
strung-back-together-with-shoddy-spare-wire.”, Blurr said with a good natured laugh as he handed the medkit over to Jedishen’s waiting hands.

Blurr then turned around and headed back over to where he had been sitting up against the wall earlier. Plunking himself down again, he stretched his legs out in front of him and fidgeted as he watched the others run around the medbay.

I-hate-being-stationary-for-any-length-of-time, Blurr thought to himself as he gazed around the medbay.

While he was watching, Perceptor and First Aid finished up their work on Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Those two were always getting patched up as far as Blurr was concerned. He was pretty courageous when it came to battling and he did what needed to be done, but he didn’t fall anywhere near the level of suicidal courageousness the twins displayed on a consistent basis. Blurr could only hope that the twins would try and wait at least a couple of astrocycles before they went and got themselves slagged into spare parts again. He imagined that the med staff would appreciate the reprieve from repairing the two of them all the time.

As he sat and fidgeted some more, Ratchet completed what he was doing to Roadbuster and summoned Mirage over to him. Seeing Mirage wander over, reminded Blurr of why he had come down here in the first place. Turning his head, he could just make out where Stormfire was laid out in stasis lock on a med table.

Pushing off of the wall and standing back up, Blurr addressed Strafe and Jedishen,
“I-am-going-to-go-and-check-on-Stormfire-since-we-don’t-know-when-he-will-wake-
up.-Maybe-the-sight-of-one-of-his-friends-waiting-will-cheer-him-up-when-he-comes-
out-of-stasis-lock.”

Blurr walked along the wall past several CR chambers towards Stormfire’s med table when he heard a sudden racket from one of the corner CR chambers.

What-in-the-world?, Blurr thought as he altered course to go over to the noisy chamber unit.

Walking up to the unit, Blurr placed his hand on the front of the chamber and yelled to the mech inside, “Are-you-alright-in-there?-What-is-wrong?”
