Kolkular - Repair Bay
The Sweep commander listened to his subordinates, looking each over in turn. As much as the misanthropic hunter disliked the tedium that came with leadership, he understood the need to maintain discipline. Particularly during downtime between deployments. After all, the chaos hound would sooner carve out his own spark chamber with a spanner than allow his mighty Sweeps to become a listless, backbiting rabble like the Seekers.
Torment's words interested him. It was true that among the self-aware Sweeps, the garishly painted tracker was the closest to his own programming. And he was not opposed to having aid to defeat the twins. He began to form a plan.
"Very well, Torment. You may join me in the hunt. Serve me well, and the red Autobot shall be yours to kill. But the golden one is mine alone." A cold fire burned in his crimson optics. One that spoke of stern and vicious deeds to come.
"For now, go to the archives, and bring me all of the records of Sunstreaker's battles in the old arena, as well as any other data we can find on him. Always study your prey, my hound."
Discord was another matter. It was clear she wanted no part in the hunt. The hunter was not surprised. While she was a fierce combatant, she seemed to have an almost...Seeker-like love of comfort and prestige. True, such things went part and parcel with her role. But socialization in general irked Scourge. Still, he supposed it was better she deal with such matters than he. He was likely to gut someone for speaking out of turn if forced into some social activity.
However, just as he was about to dismiss her, the Sweep Leader had a better idea. "You will employ your charms in seeing that Torment gets everything he needs from those overgrown datapads in the archives. I trust you can convince those fools to be helpful."
"When this task is complete, you are free to go about your primary activity schedule. But keep an optic open, and inform me immediately if you observe anything out of the ordinary."
Scourge dismissed his underlings with a wave of his new hand, leaving for the proving grounds. He intended to test the repair drones' work himself.
