Autobase Tau - Medbay
It was that all familiar dizziness that surrounded Beretta's central processing unit and cranial chamber, as it had been every single time she was tucked into a CR chamber. Meaning, every single time she had gone to battle. Voices distant and reverberating, Beretta unable to understand them. There were no visuals yet, only darkness floating in front of her visor.
A slight smile crept across the femme mech's face. She knew all this was just temporary, and she'd be back online soon. Only to find her way back later.
The recharging device gave a dull beep, indicating that all repairs had been completed. The tube began to pump the nano-container liquid out of the chamber and with barely sensible elctrical charges, started to bring life back to Beretta's systems.
Apart from the silent bubbling of the fluid inside the chamber, there was no noise or sound the chamber would make. The whole process would almost have made Beretta look like a sleeping beauty, finally awakening from a long, tiring dream. Almost. And even that, only for a moment.
Before anyone in the medbay could spare the time to draw some peace of mind from the idyllic picture, Beretta's right leg suddenly bent and with a swift motion, kicked the hatch of the CR chamber open with a loud clang.
The upper torso of the fembot sprang out of the tube, taking a half sitting position.
"Aaahh, finally, we're done!" Beretta grinned at those around her chamber, mainly at Arcee and Remington. She was expecting shocked expressions in return, but what she got was much more staggering.
Just as she got to the end of the sentence, a trasmission cracked into her transceiver, coming from Ultra Magnus, and the alarm systems of the Autobase went off simultaneously, setting the fembot's fluid circulation speed to the maximum.
"Arright, just how I like it!" Beretta said, clenching her fist as she got fully out of the CR chamber. Drawing her dual pistols out of subspace, she checked, loaded them, and lowered them, placing the two weapons in her waist holsters.
"Okay, Remy, you know the drill. I tag'em, you bag'em." She then said with a wide grin on her faceplate, standing firmly to face Remington, pressing a finger against her chest.
"Um...Retta...I think you should..." Remington tried to calm her, but she knew all too well it was most likely wasted effort.
"Magnus called us, right? We're good soldiers and we comply orders, right? Now let's go!" The answer sounded drastically sarcastic, coming from someone like Beretta, who was not the most likely person to follow others to the letter. She could, when she wanted, but she was rather moody about it. Still, she just grabbed Remington by the shoulder and began to drag her out of the medbay.
"Don't stay behind, Arcee!" She said aloud, glancing back above her shoulder at the other femme, giving her a confident grin.
With that, Beretta transformed into her vehicle mode and sped off towards the east tunnel entrance, with Remington following suit.
