Can't say I agree there.

If a 3rd party is willing to making a 3rd party MP styled TF toy I like. Then I'm more than willing to buy it.

Got my Kronos from BBTS today. Completely awesome figure!! Some people have had some minor issues with paint and tolerances from what I have been reading. A few had a couple of big issues as well. I can only speak for the unit that I received and he is near flawless! One slightly loose bicep swivel is all I could see after extensive fiddling with him. Very imposing figure, heavy and sturdy. Very poseable too... I will spend some time getting the perfect pose for his prime real estate but for now I'm keeping him like the photos below. Gonna have to rework my shelves a bit to find a good balance for the figures he displaced.

Also got mine in this morning, but not a lot of time to mess with it. I will say that the white paint on the jetpack isn't the best and has the red plastic bleeding through a bit (which was an issue that was supposed to be fixed). There are some scuff marks on various parts of the body, the bottom of the jetpack was scratched up (but I think that's because of the way it sits in the package loose from the main figure). Finally, one of the front waist flaps was installed a bit out of alignment (you can kind of see the same issue on GiveMeSkyfire's pictures).

I'll have to come back later tonight with more analysis. So far I've only posed him with other MPs. Trust me, he still looks good and I'm glad I have him.

Looks like Kronos is the clear winner of all of the 3rd party Skyfire-Jetfire toys. Kronos is definately more superior compared to that Terrible inferior Mecha Forms Skyfire-Jetfire toy.

Thanks man, It is pretty cool. I can see the appeal for some to get the smaller version if it fits with what their theme is. I also feel bad for the people that got a lemon. I feel that is a factory issue cause when Kronos is assembled with care it looks great with none of the issues a decent amount of people have had. Design wise it is a solid piece, the detachable backpack is a non issue for me.

I dont blame the reviewer being pissed his was jacked up, I would be. But I stand by what I said about mine which was done properly, not a bad effort at all.

Lmao!! I'm not sure...I do feel kinda translucent, maybe it will just be an anticlimactic fade out. Theres still FT coming eventually so there is that. Can we change our name? I started this account to put my vote in for which MP should be next thread like, right after the seekers...feels like a long time coming!

That sounds more like your opinion than fact. Especially since no other skyfire figure (including hasbros) has been released for comparison. Just keep in mind while you like youre figures huge, not everyone does.

Thank you. Confused by this statement though..classics scale Hercules? Didn't realize he was. Like I said before though, I don't have a scale preference. If its cool I'll buy it, and put him with guys he looks best with IMO.
After all, I'm a G1 guy. What is scale? I got the whole cast of them In my other cabinet all willy nilly giant tiny and in between.

Thanks for the in hand pics GMS and i'm happy you got a good one . This is still on my want list but with what seems to be a hit and miss on QC issues , i don't want to take the risk right now and will hold out for a second run.

Thanks man, and I don't blame you. I will admit the first few reports had me scared till I got mine. If it helps any, Chosen Prime is saying that his second run is being hand inspected before it ships to him, also says any issues from already shipped ones will get fixed.

Well herc is kind of classics scale if you go by the concept of mass shifting in the cartoons. But thats only only for combiner mode which is what I display mostly. It works...

Haha yeah it seemed to work for me! only took 5 years for someone to see my name and decided I was right
I wouldn't mind seeing a Galvatron from Takara at all.

I can see Hurc being a good fit with a classics lineup. I had considered surrounding him with the G1 minibots in a combat scene but went w the insecticons instead.
