I read these forums and consider the misinformation a challenge.

This will be the third or fourth time I've posted it, hopefully someone will read it instead of having to ask...
DOTM will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX/IMAX 3D.
The film was not made using IMAX cameras, hence no IMAX footage.
The first report was 134 minutes. (2 hours, 14 minutes, making it the shortest of the three.)
The second report was 153 minutes. (2 hours, 33 minutes, making it the longest of the three.)
The third report was that IMAX would receive the 153 minute cut, and regular theatrical would receive the 134 minute cut.
Both Bay (via Tweeting) and Nelson (via ShootForTheEdit forums and a direct phone call to Bay himself) have confirmed that there is no special IMAX edition. There is no special footage, no extra footage. The film, that everyone will see, is 153 minutes with end credits. The actual film itself, minus those credits will be 2 hours, 22 minutes. That means there's 11 minutes worth of credits.
That's the final word on it. 153 minutes WITH credits. 142 without credits.
We good?

Because most people don't like it when you ask questions they've already answered repeatedly. It's always better to look to see if someone's already answered a question before you ask it.

If you're not willing to put in the two minutes it takes to Google this, then don't be surprised when people get frustrated at answering it again, or just outright ignore you.
And "having a life" does not mean you can't spare those two minutes to avoid making someone repeat themselves over and over.

What kind of movies are you used to watching that you think two and a half hours is short?

The first movie and ROTF.

Google isn't that reliable. The websites I'm getting are from local movie theatres that claim it's 109 minutes long. This forum is a more reliable source.
You can also get misinformed in two minutes, I guess.

So another words again NEVER ask the same quetion twice right Shadowman ?
Im sorry man but if i have a question im going to ask it I dont care if its been aske 100 times. Im sorry if you have a problem with that wich seems to be the case so the best thing you can do is just ignore my questions.
Shadowman wrote:No, sorry. Most forums have it as a rule, if only an unwritten one, that you should always check to see if your question has already been asked and answered before if you ask it. There's no two ways about this.

If the rule is unwritten, it's personal. There's no higher moral code between asking and not asking, except for the one you agree to follow. The're are several ways around this, just not for you and that's something else.

Technically there are such things as unwritten rules that can be enforced by authorities. Then there are also the ones that SHOULD be punishable, like wearing Ed Hardy in public.
