The backing total just jumped by over 2K today. When I checked this morning it was at 6,614 (I still have the tab open on my phone) and now it's 8,864. I'm guessing that's from a retailer dumping a batch of orders since there's no reason for that many people to suddenly place orders all at once. If you look at that chart I posted before this is about where we got a large bump with Victory Saber too.

Cool. I was about to say the same thing. Same retailer order completion as VS probably. At least we know it's not TT Mall since those are added right towards the end. Looking good. Maybe Geek Dad Life will actually give it a mention this coming Sunday.

Even then, I don't think the Mexibros can avoid that markup. Blame Mexico's insane import taxes. If you have a VPN, change your location to Mexico and "order" something from Amazon.jp. Then switch your location back to the USA (I suppose). Notice the HUGE price difference.

Still, this new policy of "charge shipping separately" for these prevent many of us from buying multiples. I ordered two Star Sabers because the shipping was 25$ for one set, 30$ for TWO sets. For Deathy, it's 30$ for one 60$ for 2, ect. So, F it. One it is.

Man that stinks. I've never been a premium member. But not being charged shipping for VS because the amount was greater than $50 (was the policy at the time) was probably a huge factor in people ordering multiples.

I am just getting one DS. I live in the "contiguous United States" and will be charged 16.99 shipping for one, five would be $84.95 (so no savings on ordering multiples), unless of course you are a premium member to get free shipping.

I used to make sure all my orders were $50 or more on Pulse to get free shipping. I haven't ordered from them since the policy changed. Now I just order my items from any place I can except Pulse (only on projects like this when there really are no other less expensive options).

It really is frustrating when Items like Minerva show up on Pulse (but dont even make it out of the Pulse Premium only Window), as well as Shadowstrip. Which I had the opportunity to get for several days, but I'm not paying 30+ (after shipping) for one deluxe toy. Shadowstrip is from a Walmart sub-line, and they should have it...same for Walgreens and Minerva. If I have to wait a few months that's fine.

They weren't for Victory Saber, so I doubt Deathsaurus won't have the chromed parts

And the colored images (and presentation video) are only available for the US site. UK and Europe users still only get the gray renders.

Between that and the shorter stock I wonder if Hasbro Pulse is expecting the Europe site to give any profit.

There will always be profit since they are charging you full retail but their product cost is at least 50% less than any big box retailer.

I know several fans were waiting to see a coloured version of the renders for the upcoming Haslab Deathsaurus project. Well Hasbro has now uploaded official colour renders showing that they are going for a more toy accurate look. This means the legs and forearms will have more paint apps than if they would be based on the less detailed cartoon layout and it means we will have a vac metal finish on some parts like Victory Saber has. There will be images of a coloured physical copy within a few weeks (so before the campaign is over). Oh good, I said last week that we should see colored renders this week, glad I was right. Looks like the only gold chrome is on the lion wings, everything else is painted gold. His bot mode head crest may also be chromed, but it's too small to tell easily. I was hoping they'd thin down the base to match VS's, but maybe he's too heavy and needs a thicker base.

Hasbro caught wind to all the people buying $50 worth of stuff then cancelling to keep the free shipping. Unfortunately, the punishment hurt everyone, they could've kept the $50 free shipping and prevented cancellations, but they went this way. It sucks, but I knew it would happen

I guess I'm just so used to seeing fan-digibashes that I thought the pics were the real painted/chromed deal for a minute when I first saw them this afternoon.

Really looking forward to this guy, since he's one of the few major players from Victory that I don't have the G1 or reissue version of. Hope to be able to back it in the coming week.

You could always weave a very small copper bendy wire inside the chain. This would be challenging to do without ruining the look.
