Haven't removed Kremzeeks yet but they will disappear within the next day.
Have no plans to remove robot modes at all.

Nope. I'll probably just go ahead and remove the robot modes if there is a bug that big.

Dragonfyres first hit on Hifix does 20% damage, according to my maths 8 str blades shoulds be doing about 34% damage minimum against a bot with 6 end and no armour.

hifix has 10 computational bot mode upgrades.

EDIT: last damn time i score my logs to find an example.

will the bots automatically lose bot modes and have the xp invested in them returned or will the bot modes just lose functionality.

Much as I'm a little concerned about everything just suddenly being removed lately, the Computational Mode is more than "slightly" off and definitely deserves to be taken out or fixed.

Oh. Well, can we set the way-back-machine a little further and set no-recharge weapons to never miss so that noobs get raped, bugger the armour again so rank is useless, unfix repair so it doesn't work again, and remove tactics from the level calculations so we can go back to the days of lvl 1s with 10 avoid?

He didnt put it very diplomaticly, but Jeep has a point. Why remove these new features? Sure they dont all work properly yet, but surly the easiest way of getting em to work would be to leave em on and just keep modifying em slightly until they do work properly.

As far as robot modes being removed, doesn't matter to me; if they stay, fine, if they go, I can use the extra XP elsewhere.

No. I did not implement those changes.


My point is, that stuff was broken before, and got fixed. Don't listen to people yammering about things not being perfect - it's going to be reset eventually anyway, and rather than scrapping things entirely, use this as a way of finding out where the bugs are and squishing them.

And are you sure you didn't fix armour?

The 2 new factions will stay. That is why I am trying to funnel the people that want to be in them into them right now as quick as I can.

I am also designing a control panel for the HMW mods to manage faction members so it can be maintained in the future.

The 2 new factions work with only a few minor glitches that can be easily worked out. As far as I know they can stay.

Could just the Computational and Bulk Robot Modes be disabled, rather than all?

Although they all provide an unbalancing factor (per tammuz's argument with which I agree) it is only these two which truly are a concern of having bugs (based on other threads / experience). So could we isolate their problem(s) and leave Assault / Melee / Recon since they are working as expected?

armour was glyph, it was fixed along time ago, back when Pax was the place to be, so about the same time new orleans was wiped out

Yeah, to run the fun of the majority of the people. Seems like the problem with all of these things has been high-level only so why not just reset everyone to low levels?

Either that or just to piss off the guy actually currently doing the programming for the game, which sucks that people are actively trying to piss him off. We'll never get V2 at this rate and I wouldn't fault him in the slightest for stopping work on it if every change he makes gets endlessly argued about.
