Correct me if I am wrong but it seems that Shockwave didn't transform into a tank. Is this correct? or did I miss a frame or something while watching it.

I'd assume he does, but they never showed it in the movie.

I'm not sure, but when that driller tore through that Russian factory and then outside and Capt Lennox asked what that thing was Prime said that is Shockwave. But later it appeared to be a separate being all together. Or able to separate from him?

The Driller was like Shockwave's "pet". I don't think it was ever explained if it was either sentient or just a vessel.

Shockwave doesn't have an alt mode in the DOTM video game either, it's kinda dumb.

Megatron gets a new alt mode every year, Shockwave entered a tradition where he doesn't transform in to anything anymore.

Guess it sucks to be a G1 gun.

The Fallen never transformed in ROTF either.
Is that really so much to ask for, that in these transformers films, the transformers, transform?

Even in some of the latest pics of the concept art it shows Shockwave riding the driller.

I know - It's supposed to be Transformers. Why were the Decepticons flying space ships, when it would be cooler for them to transform into a fleet of Jets or something.
