I check the site often and order just about as often. Today when i went to check it they had a message up on the homescreen here http://www.kotoys.com/. It seems to me like Hasbro or someone put the "grip" on them and forced them to remove content.

With legal matters aside this sucks.. I loved goin to there forum and gettin scoops and checking out the KOLD section( where did it go??). Talk about a bummer!!!! :sad:

The KOLD stuff seems to have been moved into the KO re-issues section. As for removing the pre-release section... well I never order pre-releases anyway, though not for lack of desire, so it is quite a disappointment that those have been taken down. I just signed up on the forums over there so I could keep a closer following on pre-release stuff before the site went down, so that's an even bigger bummer now. I blame Paramount for this.

Oh well, back to looking for them on Ebay I guess :-(

Hmm, KOToys looks cheaper than the other seller sporting the KO Sunstorm. Getting closer to what I would pay for a KO. Still looks to be an awesome figure for a KO.

They do replacement parts. Although it's quicker to e-mail the address attached to their PayPal than to e-mail their contact e-mail.

I'm liking the Sunstorm, but just not sure if i should get him or not.

as far as site issues go, losing a pre-release section won't amount to much in the long run. they'll still find a way to keep their stuff going.

The first wave was made entirely of translucent plastic, which didn't do well for the joint strength. He's replaced the high-risk joints with solid plastic so hopefully they'll be stronger.
