My sentiments exactly, would like my Voyger prime to have a matrix and enrgon axe he can hold.

I got this figure from eBay for a little less than $10. The guy still has a few more. The red is more maroon in reality. And unfortunately they don't have smokestacks, so if anyone has suggestions..

It's actually a fun Prime action figure, surprisingly poseable.




The truck mode is its biggest problem. I like the mods they did to the legs and wheels on the other forum. It should have been designed that way. I wish there were instructions.

But I do like the mid-transformation, reminds me of MTMTE 3.

So this is a KO that you'll put the DMY head on, or an official version of this mold?

The listing doesn't specify. The figure comes without a card, a gun or the smokestacks; and the seller has a whole bunch of units. So if I had to guess I'd say that it's probably a KO.

The joints are tight though.

Neat-O. The video review was pretty decent.

Happily, I have SE-01 as well as the Sons of Cybertron crystal version, so everything in this set will be utilized

Got the kit in the mail today!

Disappointed that the blue of the head isn't the same shade of blue as the rest of the body. The head is more of a grey blue, I think. But maybe it's just my deluxe version.

The blue is a different piece than the silver and light piping so it can be painted.

Indeed, thanks for the pics! I really like the G1 cartoon looking gun. I think I'm going to snag my G2 OP gun (since he's staying in truck mode, probably forever, due to plastic cracking ) and give it to this guy. And I agree with this quote from you. In bot mode, he is one of the best representations of G1 OP in a scale smaller than leader/MP, especially with the replacement head. It's just too bad that his truck mode blows goats...

Glad, I got the later toy version with this gimmick removed.

Must of been the same HasTak designer that created that pop off bra gimmick for 1999 BW TM 2 Blackarachnia's toy.

Sure thing!

Yeah, the semi truck mode could have been significantly better if they had, for starters, given him retractable thighs and wheels that go further in.

Transformation is still fun though, specifically the waist mechanism and the arms.

I agree. For the era this figure came from, and for its size class, deluxe OP holds up remarkably well.

I hope the blue matches the SE version I have a bit better, but if not, I'll still be fairly happy with it.

I'm very pleased with this upgrade kit; and the figure continues to impress me with its articulation and fantastic balance.

Must be nice to be able to create spare and original parts for your Transformers.

SO! i bought it. i dont have the classics deluxe prime. i was hoping it could work for the classics voyager prime. well folks, it does not. axe is juuust small enough it wont fit, and the matrix is tiny. the gun works, but whod buy it just for that?

i plan on buying a united deluxe prime, but unfortunately the blue on the "normal" head replacement doesnt match anything (even hasbros!). the clear one is rich and nice, but its.. well.. clear. ill be using it though and hoping its not noticeable.

i knew about the sons prime, but completely forgot about SE. ill check it out, but im sad i cant properly use united with its pretty shiney paint job.

I've been considering picking up the United version myself to be honest. If it shoes up for $30ish somewhere, I'll buy it (best price I could find on eBay right now is $40).

I wish they'd give us a Nemesis version of that mold. He'd be adorable.
