It still incenses me that they're (Paramount + producers) putting more time, care, and effort into GI Joe and Star Trek. The "Retaliation"/Joe 2 trailer looked pretty good, and seems like it will have a coherent story. I may be speaking too soon, it may turn out to be a pile of crap. But neither of these franchises films will be screwed by a strike as ROTF was horribly rushed and shoehorned into production & made with no proper script. Paramount had to get greedy in '09 and couldn't just let 2 large films out - had to have 3 -ROTF, instead of waiting for the strike to be over. Think of how much better TF2 could have been. So aggravating. Besides the fact that the kids of today will forever have that sloppiness ingrained in their minds as how the Transformers are. :BANG_HEAD:

No matter what TF continuity you like, don't you feel that TFs deserves better???

You do realized that "Prime" does not always equal "Autobot Leader", right? That's something that's only been established in recent fiction (and retroactively in older fiction).

For the most part, "Prime" has equaled "Matrix Bearer" but not always "Autobot Leader".

I've met people who didn't really care about it and just wanted to see the new stuff. It was the movie stuff..but I guess that's a "duh" lol. I don't think those people are necessarily haters, but they just haven't got to see it or they don't appreciate it. I personally love it, it's what started everything off.

Up until recently, he was not known to have been a Prime. Nowadays, Hasbro has declared him as being one of the Thirteen, which now makes him a (former?) Prime. Or at least, his Aligned Continuity version is.

Great. Thanks hasbro. I saw the concept art/picture at botcon that had him as a historian or scribe. Very cool picture. Probably won't be able to find it anywhere. I guess it's not too big of a deal if he is or isn't (or if I am or not -lol)

Yeah, the way i see it, there's at least two different kinds of Primes. There's the leadership title (like Optimus and Rodimus), and there's the sacred title (like the Thirteen). Of course, each series seems to define the Prime title in their own ways, but the meaning of the Prime rank held by the Thirteen is a multiversal definition that doesn't exactly correlate to the meaning of the Prime rank held by the secular Primes of the various series.
