I heard he doesn't transform in the movie [sorry if this is considered a spoiler to others like me who haven't watched DOTM], which means a super-accurate DMK would be a better idea for Shockwave.

Personally, I think Megatron is a better candidate for and LC fig than him.

Shockwave would be ok but I want either a leader ratchet go in scale with my leader prime and Ironhide because my HA Bummble bee and Jazz are in perfect scale with those leader class figs. They make a leader ratchet then that would be the orginal 6 autobots from the first movie.. But you know what they you can wish in one and blank in the other and see which one fills up first.

But they really need to put out a decent leader Megatron. The last two have sucked I need a decent one to go with leader Starscream.

Come on Hasbro listen to the people give us what we want and you will make a boatload of money.

As much as I'd like to have a good Leader Megatron, I'm pretty sure all we'll get is repaints of Optimus and Starscream.

Forget Shockwave, I want a DOTM Leader Megatron!

Leader Megatron First. He NEEDS a good leader class after the last 2 failures. Then maybe make Shockwave like they did with Starscream in HFTD...then again when they did that line, they knew there would be another movie....Lets hope comic-con shows that they have one of these 2 coming out...either that, or all we get is butterfly prime >.>

As much as I liked one, I think we'll never see one for a few reasons. For one thing, he doesn't have a real alt-mode, that strikes me that he'll stay as a Voyager and smaller. He wasn't as significant in the movie as Megatron was in Movie 1 which is the only Leader Cybertronian alt-mode Movie toy...
Plus, the Voyager was so amazingly accurate, I can't understand how they could outdo it. It even had the little nuclear reactors on its back! I'd expect to see a Leader Megatron long before ShockWave.

It has those massive treads on its sides that shouldn't be there. And his arms are too high up and impossible to pose well with his gun.

But still, Megatron is preferable to Shockwave in Leader class.

Ah the treads, hadn't really noticed that. As for poseability, I don't own it so I can't speak for that.

I kind of doubt we'll see any new leader molds before the end of the year. Maybe, just maybe, if the movie line does well we'll get one in december, but I think we're in repaint land for those sizes.

I'm not big on petitions with transformers, hasbro isn't so, what's the word, connected, respondent? to its TF fans.
If some seriously wants to do a petition, go for it. Really, I'll say it again, I'd like a classics style shockwave before a 2nd movie shockwave.

Jelze, I believe, was referencing the Transformers community as a whole, and not just Seibertron

Boycott? No way man. They've released Bumblebee version 100 and ongoing already. Meaning there are enough fans out there that don't really care what Hasbro churns out, and will buy it regardless!

It's those kids, everyone wants a bumblebee.
Someone needs to convince kids that decepticons are cool too.

I think there should be a triple changer shockwave.

Personally, I'd prefer a DMK-03 Shockwave model kit. It's the perfect line for him since he doesn't even have an alt mode. Trying to force an alt mode into his design would only ruin his bot mode , and leader class figs must be fitted with lights and sounds gimmicks and wreak havoc on his proportions.

Good point. Yet, they might be able to pull something off.

I hope HasTak would surprise us like how they did with Leader SS.

I think they will. There are fans on message boards across the net screaming for DOTM Leader Megatron and Shockwave. Hell, my 11 year old nephew is asking me, "When will they come out?" It wouldn't be a wise business decision for HasTak to pass up on a guaranteed profit. A no brainer! I just hope they release them soon. My DOTM Leader display needs some Decepticon love.

I may be misremembering, but weren't there hints at Botcon for a leader Megatron and Shockwave for next year? (Kind of like "gold-box" Starscream.) Maybe they just said it was a possibility...

no one agrees cuz we just wasting money for a 44 dollar toy. Besides the voyager shockwave makes everyone happy.

I don't want one for various reasons. which are as follows below:

1-I want the Dotm movie toys to end as quick as possible. because I'm sick & tired of all the ugly movie verse designs. I want the TF Prime toys & Generations toys to be the main priority with tons of new molds in 2012 thru 2013.

2-Dotm Shockwave's CGI movie design was so horrible. it looked nothing like 1985 Shockwave. other than the robot head which they didn't get exact. I don't want a leader sized toy of this as it looked nothing like 1985 shockwave & was a awful/ugly CGI movie design.

3-If their gonna make a leader sized shockwave toy. I'd prefer it be a generations leader sized shockwave toy that looks as much like the 1985 shockwave cartoon art/toy. I want a shockwave toy to transform into a space laser gun alt mode.

4-the rotf fallen didn't get a leader sized toy. so why should shockwave get a leader sized toy.

5-most veteran TF fans know that their are only a few toy slots available per year for the TF toy sizes. the bigger the toy & the less toy slots available per year. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the following: If we get a leader sized DOTM Shockwave & leader sized DOTM Megatron toy. that's 2 wasted toy slots for the 2012 TF toy year. we could have received 2 more leader sized TF Prime toys instead for the 2012 TF toy year. or 2 generations leader sized toys instead for the 2012 TF toy year.

5a-To create the bigger sized TF toys takes more energy,more man power,more materials,more testing,more money,more designs sketches,more proto types & so forth.

I'm not saying it's fact, but I'm sticking behind what my source told me about these two figures, and we're going to be getting them in the near future.

hey man, dont feel bad that your petition isn't panning out. I tried one not long ago- people would rather post paragraph after paragraph about why it wont work and its a waste of time than just post a couple words in support and see if it works. its really annoying but, apparently, a fact of life.

but, nevertheless:
